Actor Vikrant Massey who is currently ruling the box-office with The Sabarmati Report announced a break from acting leaving his fans in a state of shock.
Vikrant’s last movie, 12th Fail, a biographical drama based on the life of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma earned him much praise from one and all.
We are still wondering why but it doesn’t change the fact that, the actor took to his Instagram and posted a note that says, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realize it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a husband, father, and son. And also as an actor.”
He further added – “So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted.”
Well, we really hope the sentence “Until time seems right” means a short break and not retirement from acting as it is assumed by majority. Vikrant is an exceptionally talented actor and we deserve to see more and more of his brilliant performances before the actor decides to draw the curtains.
The 12th Fail actor made his acting debut with Disney Channel’s Dhoom Machaao Dhoom but gained popularity by playing the character of Dharam in the television show Dharam Veer. He then did a few other television shows and moved on to do films where he gained much appreciation for his performances. Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Lootera marks his Bollywood debut while A Death in The Gunj was his first movie as the protagonist, directed by Konkana Sen Sharma.
