Actor Yoon Kye Sang In Talks To Join In New Drama Reportedly Starring Han Suk Kyu And Go Doo Shim

Actor Yoon Kye Sang best known for his roles in movies “Outlaws,” “Golden Slumber” and dramas “Chocolate,” “The Good Wife,” “Kiss Sixth Sense,” “The Kidnapping Day,” “The Frog” and more may be teaming up with Han Suk Kyu and Go Doo Shim in a new drama!

On August 11, a media outlet reported that actor Yoon Kye Sang will be starring in the upcoming drama “Gwandang”.

In response to the report, a representative from Yoon Kye Sang’s agency JUST Entertainment shared, that the actor has received an offer to star in new drama “Gwandang” and is currently reviewing the same.

 ‘Gwandang’(in Jeju dialect) refers to relatives who perform ancestral rites together. Set against the backdrop of Jeju Island, this noir drama will depict the struggles of people fighting to protect what matters to them most.

Recently, it was also reported that Han Suk Kyu and Go Doo Shim are being considered for main roles in the upcoming drama, which is reportedly in talks for a Netflix release. Both actors’ agency is yet to comment on the report.

Yoon Kye Sang has reportedly been offered the role of a charismatic yet burdensome figure within the Boo family, as well as the half-brother of Boo Yong Nam,the boss of the Gwandang faction whom actor Han Suk Kyu is reportedly been said to be portraying.
