In today’s episode, Prarthana apologizes to Ansh. She says that her parental house does not know how to talk to her in-laws and asks Ansh to forgive her. Mahi says that Gautam entered at the right time. Gautam replies that he always enters at the right time and gives a bouquet to Prarthana. Ansh asks Gautam if he got the bouquet for them. He throws it away and says that Prarthana does not like lilies. Anupama prays to God to protect the day, fearing that everyone is faking calmness and that things could explode at any moment.
Preet talks to a lady, saying that Anupama has gone to the baby shower but Vasundhara will surely create drama. They notice some men taking measurements. Preet and the other chawl residents learn that their houses will be demolished and raise their voices. On Rajini’s order, the inspection officer lies and says they were inspecting some other chawl. Preet and the others feel relieved.
Vasundhara asks Prarthana to perform the aarti. Prarthana asks Ansh to support her. Prerna wishes she also had a big family. Rahi and Prem see her. Prerna says she will not stay for long. Everyone performs the aarti. Rahi and Prem perform the puja when Prerna interrupts. Prem tells Rahi that he supported Prerna, or else she would have dropped the lamp. Rahi agrees that he did the right thing.
Prarthana and Ansh pray to God to give them strength so that they can reveal their decision. Raja and Pari decide to perform the aarti. Vasundhara tries to stop them, but Parag intervenes. Vasundhara says that because of Anupama, she is getting distracted from God’s puja.
Mita asks Pari to stay away from Raja. She says she will hire Pari to design Raja’s wedding dress since Pari is a designer. Anupama alerts Mita and asks her to let Pari and Raja decide their own future. Vasundhara accuses Anupama and her family of being insolent and even brings Ishani into the argument. She asks Anupama if she has no shame. Anupama firmly replies that neither she nor her daughters are wrong, so they have nothing to be ashamed of. Pakhi argues with Vasundhara for speaking badly about Ishani. Anupama asks everyone not to ruin Prarthana and Ansh’s function.
Leela tells Hasmukh, Paritosh, and Kinjal that despite visiting the Kotharis, they never miss a chance to demean them. Kinjal says Anupama is giving a befitting reply to Vasundhara. Vasundhara accuses Anupama of ruining the function. Parag says Vasundhara is no less responsible. Vasundhara declares that the baby will stay with them before Anupama manipulates Prarthana.
Vasundhara says Gautam will sit with Prarthana during the ritual. Anupama warns Gautam to stay away from Prarthana and Ansh. Mahi tells Gautam not to worry, saying the baby will come to them. Gautam declares that he will snatch the baby since it belongs to him.
The Kotharis perform the ritual for Prarthana’s baby shower. Vasundhara asks Rahi to begin the ritual. Anupama ties the auspicious thread. Vasundhara taunts Anupama for not having gold. Anupama gives a strong reply. Parag questions Vasundhara, saying that even if Anupama does not have gold, she certainly has a lecture to give.
Anupama delivers a speech on motherhood, stating that a mother never retires. She then asks everyone to perform the ritual for Ansh and Prarthana. Prerna says the ritual is over, but Prem and Anupama insist that games and dance are still left.

Vasundhara reveals that the papers state that after delivery, Prarthana can go wherever she wants, but the baby will stay with the Kotharis and will carry Gautam’s name. Vasundhara asks Prarthana to come along. Anupama pushes Vasundhara and declares that she is taking Prarthana back, daring anyone to stop her. Parag announces that anyone who supports Anupama will have to break ties with the Kotharis. Everyone is left shocked.

Today’s episode was dedicated to Prarthana’s baby shower. It was slightly dramatic but worth watching. Anupama’s strong replies to Vasundhara and Gautam were enjoyable. Gautam and Vasundhara feel insulted. Will they seek revenge against Anupama? Will Anupama be able to handle the upcoming storm?
