In today’s episode, Anupama performs the haldi ritual with Rahi and Prem. Prem asks Anupama if she is doing formality. Anupama plays Holi with haldi. Gautam tells Parag that he wants to talk about something important. Parag is stunned. Gautam convinced Parag that he respects him more than his father. He takes Parag’s permission to talk to the men. Baa says by God’s grace the Haldi ritual is done. A man interrupts and says he didn’t apply haldi yet. Everyone is shocked. Anupama remembers the man he met in the temple.
Rahi asks the man about his identity. The man claims to be Rahi’s biological father. A shocker for Rahi, Anupama, and others. Baa learns that Gautam has called the man. Gautam says that the man was calling him for many days and claims he is Rahi’s father. Prem asks Gautam what proves that the man is not lying. The man says he is ready for a DNA test. He says Anuj and Anupama adopted Rahi, but he is the biological father. The man says he wants to attend Rahi’s wedding. Anupama says if he were a father, then he would have avoided the drama.
The man says he is not doing drama but is happy that Rahi is getting married in the Kothari house. Anupama defends Rahi. The man discloses that Maya was a bar dancer, and he used to get her the customer. Rahi says she was clueless about Maya. Gautam talks against Rahi. Anupama and Rahi are stunned. Anupama decides to fight for Rahi.
Vasundhara says Rahi can’t become their daughter-in-law. Anupama asks Vasundhara to see Rahi’s good heart. Vasundhara says Rahi’s mother was a bar dancer, and they can’t accept Rahi. Anupama defends Maya. She says Maya was helpless; thus, she became a dancer. Anupama says the man claims Rahi’s father, but he is not a good husband. Anupama defends Maya.
The man says Anupama is making Maya a heroine and him the villain. He discloses that Maya and Anuj were having an affair. Anupama slaps the man for targeting Anuj. She takes a stand for Maya. Later, Baa rejects Rahi for Prem. She questions Rahi’s upbringing and birth. Here, Parag asks Gautam why he called the man. Gautam tells everyone that Parag wanted to bring out the truth.
Prem decides to marry Rahi. Anupama stops Prem and asks him to wait for Baa’s decision. She urges Baa to see Rahi’s good heart more than her background. Prem says that Parag deliberately called the man to insult Anupama and Rahi. Gautam tried to interrupt. Prem gets angry. – Episode Ends
Precap: Prem decides to marry Rahi. Rahi says she will not marry without Baa’s permission. Prem claims that more than becoming his wife, Rahi is interested in becoming the Kothari’s daughter-in-law. He breaks his ties with Rahi.
