Aamir Dalvi speaks on his web series due to release soon, his passion for bikes, and his working equation with Anupriya Goenka.
1. You have always been particular about the shows you take up. what prompted you to take this series up?
Yes, I have been someone who likes to be creatively satisfied; hence the time I take to choose things, but with this one it was the script, plus it had the shortest turnaround time. We shot in November, and December was the telecast time, and that completely swept me away, so that one was a major reason.
To add to it, the character was something I strongly felt I could justify and bring alive on screen.
2. After this, what next do we see you back on screen anytime soon?
Yes, I have been through many discussions, and many meetings have been happening, so I am rather sure a few things will be ready, and I shall be able to talk about it more then.
3. Your love for bikes knows no bounds. Does it at times overtake the passion for acting, or is there ever a choice between the two made?
If racing paid that handsomely, then I probably would not have ventured much into acting. I love my bikes and I love racing it keeps me alive.
When I have a project in hand, I have to be doubly careful because you are portraying a character, and racing takes a back seat then like last week I went for a ride and had a fall there are bruises and injuries which affect the continuity of a show so an actor i need to be careful on those lines as the most ethical thing to do towards my work and the producer who is investing the moolah in the show that’s being made.
4. How was it working with Anupriya Goenka Any incident that stood out during the making of the series ?
Anupriya has been a great co-actor. actor we all gelled really well very professional and always ready to add more to the character it’s been an absolute pleasure to have her on board this project
