By Gossips Tv : Television audiences are in for back-to-back closures of popular shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Parineeti, Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehed Shehed now another two shows set to wrap up soon.
Sony Entertainment Television’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain – Naya Season, produced by Balaji Telefilms, will end its run on 19 September 2025. Launched on 16 June 2025, the show carried big expectations with its lead stars Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi aimed for approx 150 episodes, but show to end before the original plan. While their chemistry received attention, the storyline failed to deliver consistent ratings. Despite attempts by makers to refresh the track and even a time-slot change, the numbers remained unimpressive. The final episode is now set to close the chapter, leaving fans with mixed emotions.
On the other hand, Zee TV’s Jamai No. 1, produced by Prateek Sharma’s Studio LSD, is also coming to an end, with its last telecast scheduled for 31 August 2025. Featuring Abhishek Malik and Simaran Kaur in lead roles alongside Papia Sengupta, the show initially garnered attention but faced repeated slot changes, which impacted its performance. Eventually shifted to an early-evening slot, the drama struggled to maintain strong viewership.
While both shows had promising casts and loyal followers, low TRPs and changing programming strategies sealed their fate. Fans, however, can cherish the journeys of these stories as they prepare to welcome new beginnings on their favorite channels.
