SONY TV’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain season 4 is dropping twists after twists and each episode is getting more intriguing and interesting than the other. In tonight’s episode, RishRee ; Rishabh and Bhagyashree shared a romantic rain dance on the iconic song of the movie Aashiqui 2 and the pose as well but was it just that? A romantic rain dance sequence? The answer is, No!
RishRee’s romantic rain dance sequence was their whole story. That two minutes dance sequence told RishRee’s love story in the most beautiful way. Let’s decode it!
A little context for those who are not religiously following the show —
Bhagyashree asked Rishabh if anything is wrong? Why is he so serious? Earlier he used to joke around, now when she is doing the same, he is not good for it. She expresses that she is worried for him, he asked her not to worry about him and simply walked towards the pouring rain.
Aa soon as he goes under the rain, he feels free, without any pretense in that moment, she calls him out and he asks her to join him. She asks, f it’s okay to join him because she is unsure of his mood and he asks her to join him for the sake of that mood. Asks her, if she trusts him, she nods and he stretches out his hand for her.
Rishabh called Bhagyashree into his world. She was hesitant because of his mood and that rain might make her sick. Her unconditional trust in him led her to him in the pouring rain. As soon as Bhagyashree places her hand – Read ; her trust — into Rishabh’s hand — When he saved her from Vikram — He pulls her close — Inserted himself into her life as her husband — She confesses that he is the only one she trusts –– Considering he did everything to help her parents and her sister –– She starts to enjoy the rain — Read ; life unlike ever before — Swirling around him, giggling, laughing and carefree.
Rishabh pulls her close, removes her glasses — Read ; He blinds her with his kindness so she could not see the real motive behind his actions. He twirls her and swirls her while she is completely dependent upon him, with her hands free in the air enjoying the rain, if not for him, she would fall hard — Read ; living the life carefree knowing she has someone who has her back and won’t let anything happen to her.
As soon as Bhagyashree embraces Rishabh, she sneezes of which she was afraid about before joing him in the rain –– Read ; As soon as Bhagyashree gets to know Rishabh with all his truth, it hurt her, it broke her heart as she feared and reason why she could not trust anyone but she trusted Rishabh anyway. The way Bhagyashree looks at Rishabh post her sneeze, Read ; Post her heartbreak, she is still in the daze of his love but Rishabh knows that he hurt her, she was afraid of getting betrayed and yet she opened her heart to him, let him in and he broke her trust. As the realisation dawns upon him, he immediately removes his black shirt signifying his rage from his body, baring himself completely in front of her, and that same anger now shelters her from the same rain that dared to hurt her, the same rain under which he asked her to join him.
The whole sequence is written beautifully and executed in an equally beautiful manner. The song’s lyrics, the lightening and thunder were in sync with everything. Watch it again and you will be able to see what we saw.
That’s our decoded version of RishRee’s rain dance sequence, that’s how we saw it of course, apart from our favourite RishRee because honestly, when they set the screen on fire with their chemistry, it’s very difficult to see beyond their pretty faces. Haha!
