The episode starts with Rishi asking Lakshmi to open the door. He says that if she doesn’t open it, he will break it. Lakshmi cries silently in her room. Seeing no response, Rishi and Ayush break the door. Ayush tells Rishi that he will stay outside and leaves.
Neelam tells Aanchal that she feels happiness is finally coming into Rishi’s life and comments on it. Aanchal reminds Neelam that Rishi has gone after Lakshmi. She also tells Neelam that Lakshmi will not accept the situation easily. Neelam dismisses her concerns, saying that no matter how much trouble Lakshmi causes, it will not change the facts, and she comments further.
Rishi tries to console a devastated Lakshmi. He admits that he betrayed her and says he hates himself for it. Lakshmi asks if she can question him. When Rishi agrees, she asks why he keeps breaking her heart. Lakshmi apologizes, saying that if she hurt him, she is sorry, and adds that she will leave him if he has a problem with her. Rishi hugs Lakshmi and tells her he would never ask her to leave, saying he would rather die than do so. Lakshmi pushes him away.
Neelam asks Kiran why she called her. Kiran says it has been proven today that Rishi and Malishka are meant to be together, but some people still believe that Rishi and Lakshmi are one. Kiran tells Neelam they need to do something about it. She suggests organizing Malishka’s baby shower immediately to show everyone that Malishka and Rishi are together. Neelam agrees.
Rishi tries to talk to Lakshmi, saying he loves her. Lakshmi replies that it would be better if he killed her with poison instead. She asks him to stay away and criticizes him. Despite this, Rishi approaches her and hugs her. He pleads with her to accept him, saying he really needs her and cannot live without her. Rishi begs Lakshmi for another chance and says he truly loves her, but Lakshmi remains upset and criticizes him.
Kiran tells Neelam that this baby shower is mainly being planned for Rishi, emphasizing that everyone needs to know the truth. Malishka adds her own remarks about Lakshmi, reminding everyone how Lakshmi caused a scene at Kiran’s anniversary party. The other ladies agree with Malishka.
Lakshmi argues with Rishi, saying she doesn’t even know how she is still alive. She asks Rishi if he really wants her to stop being sad because of him. When Rishi says yes, Lakshmi tells him to leave her. She walks away, leaving Rishi devastated and in tears.
Malishka tells Neelam that Lakshmi is jealous of her, which is why she is behaving this way. Neelam reassures Malishka, saying the baby shower will prove to everyone that she and Rishi are together. Malishka later tells Neelam she is feeling sleepy and leaves with Kiran.
Lakshmi is shown walking down the road, thinking about everything that has happened.
