The episode starts with Malishka telling Neelam that Lakshmi only pretends to love Rohan, but she doesn’t actually care for him. Malishka claims she would know if someone loves Rohan because she is Rohan’s mother. Neelam tells Malishka that she is mistaken and assures her that Lakshmi truly loves Rohan, asking Malishka not to worry about the court hearing. Neelam says she will handle it and leaves. Karishma advises Malishka never to say that Lakshmi doesn’t love Rohan, as everyone can see it. She makes a remark about it before leaving. Anushka asks Malishka what Lakshmi has that even those who dislike her end up on her side.
Rohan is shown sliding down the staircase railing. Parvati tells him not to do it. Lakshmi comments on how both Rohan and Parvati are being naughty. Parvati defends herself, saying she is trying to stop Rohan, but he won’t listen. Lakshmi asks Rohan to listen to Parvati and stop sliding down the stairs. Rohan replies that nothing will happen to him because he is a superhero. Lakshmi then takes Parvati away for a while.
Rohan spots a blanket and decides to use it to slide down the stair railing again. He slides down and falls, injuring himself. Both Malishka and Lakshmi witness the accident. Malishka rushes to get water for Rohan, while Lakshmi asks Parvati to call Rishi and inform him. Parvati agrees and leaves.
Malishka sees some black ash in a kitchen utensil. She decides to frame Lakshmi, as she noticed that Lakshmi dropped the Pooja ki Thaal while running towards Rohan, which had black ash in it. Malishka takes the ash using a wet cloth.
When Lakshmi is distracted making a phone call, Malishka applies the black ash to Rohan’s shirt. The Oberoi family gathers around Rohan. Neelam asks Malishka how Rohan fell down the stairs. Malishka blames Lakshmi. Neelam and Harleen ask her to stop thinking that way, insisting that Lakshmi would never hurt Rohan. Lakshmi herself says she would never harm Rohan, who is like a son to her. She demands that Malishka stop questioning her integrity as a mother. Malishka retorts that Lakshmi only pretends to care about Rohan but actually wants to harm him. Malishka accuses Lakshmi of blowing black ash into Rohan’s eyes, causing him to fall. Lakshmi tells Malishka to stop talking nonsense and argues with her.
Malishka claims she has proof and asks everyone to look at the ash stain on Rohan’s shirt. She says the stain is there because Lakshmi tried to wipe off the ash but failed to remove all of it, leaving a mark as evidence of her actions. Lakshmi pleads with Malishka to stop and asks if she can’t understand that she would never harm Rohan. Neelam angrily tells Lakshmi to stop pretending and demands to know how she could hurt Rohan.
Meanwhile, Rishi is reviewing some design concepts for hotel rooms but is not satisfied with any of them. He tells his staff that he wants their hotel to give customers a homely feeling and suggests they hire a home-style cook.
Later, Rishi receives a call from Parvati, who informs him that Rohan has fallen down the stairs.
Harleen urges Neelam to stop blaming Lakshmi and to ask herself if she truly believes that Lakshmi would harm Rohan. Malishka then presents the Pooja ki Thaal, showing the ash inside it.
