The episode starts with Lakshmi saying this cannot happen. Ayush asks Lakshmi if she noticed anything. Lakshmi says she thinks the thief is Balwinder. Ayush says it’s not possible, noting that the last time he checked, Balwinder was in a mental asylum. Lakshmi says Balwinder isn’t in the mental asylum and reveals that he was the one who saved Malishka when she tried to commit suicide. Ayush insists it cannot be Balwinder, saying he doesn’t have the guts.
Sonal comes to Malishka. Malishka tells Sonal that she thought everything had ended for her today. Sonal advises Malishka to still be careful, and Malishka agrees, feeling irritated with herself for having slept with Balwinder. Sonal warns Malishka that if Balwinder keeps coming around like he did today, he’ll eventually get caught, and the truth will come out, which no one will forgive. Malishka agrees. Anushka comes to tell Malishka that everyone is waiting for her downstairs. Malishka agrees.
Rishi comes and asks Ayush where Avinash is. Ayush says he will arrive by 7 pm. Harleen asks Rishi and Ayush what they’re doing there, and Ayush explains that Neelam told them to be there. Neelam comes downstairs and asks Karishma why they haven’t started the Pooja. Karishma says everyone is waiting for her, so Neelam instructs everyone to begin.
Lakshmi comes downstairs, and Aanchal comments on her being late. Lakshmi apologizes to Aanchal and gives medicine to Harleen. Aanchal asks Lakshmi to stop trying to act great. Lakshmi apologizes and explains that she couldn’t find Harleen’s medicine, which caused the delay. Harleen tells Lakshmi it’s not her fault. Karishma remarks that Lakshmi could have spoken up when Aanchal commented, but instead waited for Harleen to intervene to make herself look good. Harleen responds, asking Karishma how any of this is Lakshmi’s fault, as Lakshmi brought her medicine and Aanchal commented without even giving her a chance to explain. Neelam asks Karishma to drop the matter.
Neelam narrates the story of Karwa Chauth to everyone. Later, all the women offer Aarthi to the Goddess and pass it around. Anushka receives a call from Neel, becomes anxious, and accidentally drops the Aarthi ki Thaal. Karishma asks if she’s alright, and Anushka explains she’s just tired from fasting. She notices Neel’s feet and messages him to meet her later that night instead of now. Neel leaves.
After the Pooja, Harleen praises Lakshmi in front of the guests, saying Rishi is blessed to have a wife like her. Malishka, seeing this, becomes furious and lashes out at Harleen. Malishka tells Harleen that she, too, is observing Karwa Chauth for Rishi as his wife, yet Harleen is only praising Lakshmi. Malishka then makes a remark at Harleen and storms off, with Sonal following to calm her down.
Neelam, Aanchal, and Karishma confront Harleen, commenting on how her behavior hurt Malishka. Harleen says she did what she believed was right and adds that it’s their problem if they’re offended. Neelam tells Harleen that Malishka performed Karwa Chauth for Rishi’s well-being. Harleen responds that since Lakshmi is Rishi’s wife, she should be the one observing Karwa Chauth, not anyone else. Neelam argues that Malishka is Rishi’s wife, but Harleen refuses to accept it. Neelam asks her to drop the matter, saying she doesn’t want to discuss it further. Neelam leaves, and Lakshmi overhears their conversation.
Lakshmi approaches Malishka and confronts her, asking why she constantly causes trouble in the house. Malishka retorts and questions Lakshmi’s reason for doing the Karwa Chauth Vrath. Lakshmi states that she is Rishi’s wife. Malishka asks who said that, to which Lakshmi replies that the government recognizes it, then comments on Malishka. Lakshmi warns Malishka not to create a scene in front of anyone again.
