The episode begins with Malishka fuming after receiving a lecture from Lakshmi. Malishka decides to teach Lakshmi a lesson.
Harleen recalls Neelam’s words. Lakshmi arrives and asks Harleen if she may come in. Harleen reminds Lakshmi that she is the daughter-in-law of the house and can enter the room whenever she wishes. Lakshmi approaches Harleen and hugs her.
Sonal tries to calm Malishka down, but Malishka insists on confronting Lakshmi and seeing who will take her side. Sonal warns Malishka that Rishi will support Lakshmi no matter what. She advises Malishka to find a solution to her problem instead of letting anger control her. Malishka, after some thought, comes up with an idea.
Lakshmi thanks Harleen for always supporting her, no matter the situation.
Sonal asks Malishka about her plan. Malishka tells Sonal to join her as they head to check the terrace arrangements.
Harleen notices Lakshmi looking upset and asks her about it. Lakshmi admits she feels hurt when someone says anything negative about her father, and that Malishka’s harsh words affected her in the same way. Harleen encourages Lakshmi to focus on the positive outcome, saying that the incident brought them closer and even made a place for her in Rishi’s heart.
On the terrace, Malishka examines the arrangements. Sonal asks again about her plan. Malishka tells her that instead of getting into more trouble, she needs to find a permanent solution. Malishka then slips and nearly falls from the terrace, but Sonal catches her just in time. Malishka then shares that she has a plan in mind and that they’ll just have to wait until nightfall.
Avinash visits Karishma, and Karishma makes a comment about him being late yet again. Avinash expresses his disappointment, feeling that Karishma is observing the Karwa Chauth fast only to keep up appearances rather than out of love for their relationship.
Lakshmi heads to the kitchen to help Mukesh prepare food. Rishi enters, notices Lakshmi cooking, and decides to help her. He signals Mukesh to leave them alone. Lakshmi playfully comments on Rishi’s behavior.
Soon, Harleen comes and takes Lakshmi away, announcing that the moon has appeared. All the ladies eagerly await the moon’s appearance so they can break their fast and enjoy the meal.
