The episode starts with Malishka arguing with everyone, insisting that Lakshmi cannot be pregnant. Lakshmi tells Malishka that she is indeed pregnant. Malishka accuses Lakshmi of carrying someone else’s child. Rishi confronts Malishka, demanding how she dares to speak like that. Lakshmi assures Rishi that she will handle Malishka herself.
Lakshmi tells Malishka that while she has tolerated Malishka’s misbehavior in the past, this is crossing the line. She warns Malishka not to dare to call her child illegitimate. Malishka questions how the child could be Rishi’s since they were never intimate. Lakshmi reminds her that she and Rishi were together on the night of Kiran’s anniversary and asks Malishka to count the days. Malishka denies it, but Rishi confirms Lakshmi’s statement.
Neelam intervenes, stating that everyone must take good care of Lakshmi now. She adds that new relationships are coming into their lives. Kiran asks Neelam about Malishka, and Malishka herself demands to know what will happen to her rights. Lakshmi comments on this, but then suddenly comes out of her thoughts, realizing it was all just a dream.
Lakshmi decides to share the good news with Rishi first. She pays the cab driver and enters the Oberoi mansion.
Lakshmi approaches Rishi and tells him she has something important to say – good news. Neelam and Karishma wonder what is going on since everyone seems to have good news to share. Before Lakshmi can reveal that she is pregnant, Malishka interrupts and declares that she is pregnant. Lakshmi is shocked and recalls everything that has happened between Rishi and Malishka.
Malishka announces her pregnancy to the Oberoi family. Apart from Harleen and Ayush, everyone congratulates her and advises her to be careful.
Rishi pulls Malishka aside and questions how this is possible. Malishka insists it happened and asks why he is overthinking. Rishi protests, saying they were never together. Malishka reminds him of Kiran’s anniversary night and tells him to count the days from then. Rishi remains silent.
Meanwhile, Karishma notices Lakshmi has brought sweets. She takes the sweets and distributes them to everyone. Malishka also offers the sweets around. Anushka tastes one and asks Lakshmi where she bought them. Lakshmi remains silent.
Malishka approaches Lakshmi, asking why she hasn’t congratulated her yet. Lakshmi feeds her a sweet and congratulates her. Afterward, Lakshmi leaves, accidentally knocking over a vase. Rishi follows her. Kiran comments on Lakshmi’s behavior, and Malishka accuses Lakshmi of being unable to tolerate her happiness. Neelam remarks that it is better for Lakshmi to accept the truth – that Rishi and Malishka are together and there is no place for Lakshmi in his life. Aanchal adds her own comments to this.
Lakshmi retreats to her room and cries alone. Rishi and Ayush are shown searching for her.
Meanwhile, Aanchal, Neelam, and Karishma tend to Malishka. Harleen observes this and leaves. Aanchal follows Harleen and pleads with her to accept that Malishka is carrying Rishi’s child, acknowledging that Harleen doesn’t like Malishka. Harleen admits her dislike for Malishka but reassures Aanchal not to worry. She says that no matter whose baby it is, the child will belong to Rishi, and she will love the baby regardless. Harleen then leaves. Neelam watches this exchange from afar.
Neelam approaches Aanchal and advises her not to pressure Harleen into anything, stating that Harleen will tend to Malishka eventually since she is pregnant.
Lakshmi continues crying in her room. Rishi comes to talk to her, but she shuts the door in his face.
