Talented artiste Pritam Pyaare is currently in the news and limelight for all the good reasons. While the man has earlier entertained his audience with his stints in Bigg Boss 8, Nach Baliye 8 and Box Cricket League, this time, he’s beginning a new journey as a host of an upcoming music reality show. Yes, you heard that right.
The show is titled ‘Bharat Ka Amrit Kalash’ and it’s all set to give folklore and folk musicians a platform to showcase their talent and mettle like never before. The show has reputed judges like Kailash Kher, Debojit Saha, Gayatri Ashokan & Sneha Kanwalkar and Pritam has been brought on-board as the host of the show to entertain the audience with his wit and humour. Regarding the opportunity, Pritam shares and we quote,
“Well, when it comes to Indian culture and Indian music, folk music has always been an indispensable part. Even people from the West, when they talk about Indian music, they visit the country to deep-dive more into the folk culture as that truly defines the cultural heritage of this beautiful country that’s known for unity in diversity.
What’s most beautiful about this show is that it gives folk singers from all over the country to showcase their talent and mettle and prove to the world the true essence and potential of folklore and Indian folk music. To add to that, the show has legendary judges like Kailash Kher, Debojit Saha, Gayatri Ashokan, and Sneha Kanwalkar who bring a lot of value with their experience.
This is our country’s biggest music reality show. We have participants from 28 states and 8 union territories to audition and be a part of this show. Somewhere down the line, the essence of folk music was missing off-late. Keeping in mind this factor, the makers decided to come up with an idea like this for a show and I am confident this show will strengthen our roots even more.
In the days to come, the kind of talent that we will see will not only be great for the country but also at an International level. This has nothing to do with film music but real folklore and folk music which was earlier just part of festival performances.
As someone who’s had a long-time connection with radio and voice-over, it is my honour and privilege to come onboard as a host for a show like this. I am looking forward to delivering my best and entertaining the audience with my hosting. Looking forward to everyone’s love and support as I begin this new and special journey.”
Well, here’s wishing the talented and multi-dynamic Pritam Pyaare all the very best for this new show as a host and may he shine and entertain people like he’s always known for. Stay tuned for more updates.
