By Gossips Tv : “Nima Denzongpa” fame Surabhi Das has been cast in the highly anticipated film “Ramayana,” directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The actress, who was last seen in Star Plus’s “Pandya Store,” will portray one of the sisters of Devi Sita, a character played by the talented Sai Pallavi.

The movie, a big-budget venture, is already creating a buzz with its star-studded cast. Ranbir Kapoor will headline the film alongside Pallavi, with other prominent names such as Lara Dutta, KGF star Yash (set to play Ravana), and Sunny Deol taking significant roles.

Though still unconfirmed, reports suggest that Ravi Dubey might step into the role of Lakshmana, adding further excitement to the ensemble. Additionally, veteran actor Arun Govil, who famously portrayed Lord Rama in the 1980s television series “Ramayan,” is also part of the cast, promising a blend of nostalgia and new interpretations.

Filming is currently underway at various locations, with the project scheduled for a two-part release. The epic narrative will delve into the lives of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, exploring their trials, triumphs, and enduring love. Given Tiwari’s reputation for compelling storytelling, expectations are high for this retelling of the revered epic.

Set for a late 2025 release, “Ramayana” is poised to be a cinematic spectacle. With a cast that blends fresh talent like Das with established stars, the film aims to captivate audiences and bring the timeless tale of Rama and Sita to a new generation.
