After three years from launching the first season, Balaji Telefilms has announced the release of Kawach season 2, if you remember the first season starring Mona Singh and Vivek Dahiya witnessed moderate success, a fact certainly the makers have in mind, giving the viewers a wide range of speculations about the tools they will use to create something more interesting, quite appealing and different.
The serial was about a newly wedded girl who is possessed by an evil spirit who wants her husband dead, Mona Singh received a big round of applause for her performance in season one, but could not make it to season to due to her hectic schedule and was replaced by Deepika Singh, for whom this show is considered a come back after her maternity break.
On the other hand, Vivek Dahiya was replaced by Namik Paul who will play the lead role, the change that occured to the cast is quite beneficial, it is like pouring new blood to the show, cause though the storyline seems to be different, however it has the main essence which was clear from the promo, where we see a girl ( Sandhya) went to Shiva temple to pray for her future husband on Mahashivratri, Sandhya fasted on Maharashivratri so she can see the face of her future husband, she sees the faces of Vin Rana and Namik Paul.
In the second promo she is again in the temple on Mahashivratri but this time with Namik Paul whose name is Angad, again the evil spirit appears saying the same words, with Vin Rana appearing in the temple during the celebration, she goes out running to end up in the arms of Angad, how will Sandhya make a shield of her love to Angad, it is worth watching, on the 15th of May the serial will be aired on Colors and we will be covering it all up with you bit by bit.
