Colors TV is all set to launch its hard-hitting new drama Dhaakad Beera, a content-driven show centered around the dark realities of honor killing, wrapped in emotional storytelling and powerful characters. Set against a raw and authentic Haryanvi backdrop, the show promises to deliver intense drama and heartfelt moments.

The narrative follows Beera, a courageous young man thrust into a fight against regressive norms when a woman is brutally killed by her own mother-in-law for bearing an illegitimate child. Before dying, the woman entrusts her daughter Kishmish to Beera. The village labels Kishmish a threat to their so-called “honor,” but Beera stands tall—questioning their prejudice and refusing to bow down.
In a tear-jerking promo, Beera’s vow to protect Kishmish—”banne apni Kishmish ki chhaaya”—strikes an emotional chord. The scene where he asks why they want to kill an innocent child is already winning hearts. With each new promo, the tension intensifies, highlighting the lengths Beera will go to to shield his sister from harm.

Dhaakad Beera is set to premiere on 24th July, taking over the 7 PM slot on Colors TV and JioHotstar, replacing Meri Bhavya Life, which will now air at 6:30 PM.
Fans are also excited to see Pankhuri Awasthi make a return to television with a special cameo in the series. Her involvement is expected to add more emotional depth to the early episodes.
