The episode starts with Raghav proposing to Bhawana for marriage with a ring on his knees. Bhawana stares at him and recalls the memories with Raghav. She then looks at both Jagjeevan and Aanchal. They both nod yes. Bhawana forwards her hand to Raghav, who puts the ring in her hand. Brij Mohan from his balcony shouted at Raghav for putting his reputation at stake. He further refuses to accept Bhawana as her daughter in law then goes inside. Bhawana and Raghav worries how to convince Brij Mohan. Jagjeevan assures then that he will talk to Brij Mohan.
Brij Mohan informs his family members about Raghav’s proposal and expresses his disappointment towards Bhawana for accepting. Swati says their reputation is at stake. Savita supports Raghav’s decision by praising Bhawana, which shocks Brij Mohan and Swati. Jagjeevan arrives there with Raghav and Bhawana.
There, Aanchal informs Vidya, Abhishek, and Dimple that Bhawana accepts Raghav’s proposal. Vidya, Abhishek, and Dimple get happy. Malini breaks things in the house and lashes out at all three of them for celebrating Bhawana accepting Raghav while Bhanu and Amit are in prison. Vidya says to Malini that Bhanu and Amit are in prison because of their deeds, and it has nothing to do with Bhawana. Malini questions Vidya: Do she think that Srivastav’s will accept Bhawana, who is a widow? Vidya and Aanchal get worried.
Brij Mohan asks Jagjeevan not to interfere in his house matter. Jagjeevan says that he is here for his daughter’s life, though. He then praises Bhawana’s qualities and asks Brij Mohan to change his opinion about this marriage. Swati looks irked. Brij Mohan remains stubborn in his decision. Raghav says to Brij Mohan that his happiness relies on Bhawana, so he will marry Bhawana only. Bhawana refuses to marry Raghav going against Brij Mohan’s wish, saying she will wait until Brij Mohan approves. She then talks about the way society’s norm for a man and woman. Raghav reminds Brij Mohan about him convincing to marry another woman after he was divorced. He then tells Brij Mohan that he can’t live without Bhawana. Savita and Gaura plead with Brij Mohan to accept Bhawana for Raghav’s happiness. Swati remains silent.
Brij Mohan accepts Bhawana as his daughter in law and asks Jagjeevan to fix the marriage date of Raghav-Bhawana. They both get into a funny argument about where they should conduct Raghav-Bhawana’s marriage. Raghav takes Bhawana inside. Bhawana asks him the reason behind it. Raghav tells her to pinch him, saying he feels like he is dreaming. Bhawana pinch hard. Raghav screams in pain. He then tells her that they both should stop addressing each other using ‘Ji’ also instead of ‘aap’ they should use ‘tum’ to become closer. He then again proposes Bhawana not using Ji and Aap and encourages Bhawana to do it. Bhawana makes up an excuse, then leaves. Raghav gets determined to make Bhawana call him without using Ji.
Jagjeevan asks Malini to perform a ritual as she is daughter in law of the house. Malini refuses and goes inside. Bhawana goes to her and talks about their earlier days bond. She further asks Malini to perform the ritual if she isn’t holding her and Vidya is accountable for Bhanu and Amit’s arrest, then leaves. Malini recalls everything that happened. She then stops Vidya from performing the ritual to perform on her own. Bhawana gets happy and emotional.
