Do showing middle-age romance on Indian Television is the new cool? Read below to find out!

Indian television shows most of the time hook the audience’s with their young lead pair and their fancy romance. The romance between young leads skips the beat of the masses and one falls for the couple more than the content of the story. But now it seems time for a change. It’s a time to do experiment. It’s seems time to bring something that can breathe fresh other than young leads doing romance and luring audience’s. Thus, Star Plus is turning the table around by bringing the shows like ‘Anupamaa and Shaadi Mubarak’. Both the shows are themed on middle-age romance.

Young love stories have the potential to attract the audiences’ and when ‘ANUPAMAA’ promo was out it was speculated that show isn’t going to work because of the regressive storyline and middle-age romance. But first time TRP gave the answer to the one who underrated it. Unexpectedly, Anupamaa with their storyline and hate-love story of Anupamaa and Vanraj has managed to gain the audience’s attention. And this middle-age romance is the current obsession of the masses as they are enjoying the reality which is shown in the show so far. Show features Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey in the lead.

Now following the middle-age romance theme Star Plus is all set to launch a new show ‘Shaadi Mubarak’. So far makers have released two promos and both the promos looked promising. In the first promo it is seen Preeti and Abhinav both are opposite poles and it will be interesting what will happen when duos path will cross. While, in the second promo the duos meet each other and from there we can speculate their love story will begin. Preeti and Abhinav’s romance will create how much magic on the screen will have to wait a little. But this second show with middle-age romance is telling that ITV is now experimenting something different and new other than young love stories.

Show Shaadi Mubarat features Manav Gohil and Rajshree Thakur in the lead.
