The episode starts with Avantika witnessing the argument between Vishwas and Arambhi. She asks Arambhi, “What are you doing here, and how can you talk to your husband like this on the road with your son present?” Arambhi replies, “You are my supervisor in the hospital, not here, so stop interfering between us.” Avantika says, “Tomorrow you will have to report to me, so don’t forget that.” Arambhi says, “I won’t forget that, because of you my son faced a medical emergency, and my son himself said that you people were busy.” Avantika says, “Stop involving me in your issues.” Arambhi replies, “You people involved yourselves and failed to take care of Vihaan. A third person called me and informed me that Vihaan met with an accident, so I rushed here.” Vihaan says, “I remember only my mom’s number.” Vishwas asks Arambhi not to create a scene on the road. The inspector arrives there and says, “You should have been more careful, sir. Then all this wouldn’t have happened in the first place.” The inspector asks Arambhi to take Vihaan home safely. Avantika says Arambhi has to return to the hospital as her shift is not yet complete, otherwise she will file a complaint. Arambhi replies, “Go ahead and do it. I will also tell HR that Avantika and Vishwas went on an outing with the kids, failed to take care of my son, and I had to leave my work midway because of that, so go and complain.” Arambhi asks Vihaan to thank the inspector and the lady who saved him. Then they leave. Vishwas receives a call from Dimple, who asks him to come home soon.
In the car, Raj practices how to offer a lift to Manmeet and talks to himself. Manmeet hires an auto. Raj tries to stop her. Manmeet thanks Raj and says, “You are from a reputed family, and our ways are completely different, so it’s not good for us to get involved.” She leaves in the auto without listening to Raj.
On the way, Arambhi asks Vihaan not to behave that way again. Vihaan asks the auto driver to play music because his mother loves it. The FM radio starts playing. The anchor says, “Dhruv Chawla is a man who respects women, and this song is dedicated to hardworking women.” They enjoy the music. Raj tells Manmeet, “Next time, come with me.” Manmeet replies, “Let’s try next time.” Arambhi and Vihaan return home, and Arambhi teases Raj.
Harry asks where Raj and the bride’s family are. Dimple says, “Raj doesn’t know about the roka ceremony, so don’t spoil the surprise.” Naira and her family arrive at the Tandon house. Maira takes the elders’ blessings. Arambhi asks Raj whether he really likes Manmeet. Raj says, “Manmeet doesn’t even talk to me properly.” Arambhi asks, “Do you want me to talk to her?” Raj says no, as Manmeet likes independent people, so he should decide what he wants before his mother fixes his marriage with someone else.
Raj, Arambhi, and Vihaan enter the house. Dimple tells Raj, “Surprise! I have arranged your roka with Naira.” Arambhi becomes suspicious of Naira. Raj is left speechless. Dimple says, “I selected Naira after seeing many profiles, and today is an auspicious muhurat, so I invited the Malhotra family for the roka ceremony.” She asks Raj and Naira to talk to each other. Dimple also says that the Malhotra family is tying up with their hospital through their pharmaceutical companies. Raj asks Dimple to come aside so he can talk to her privately, but Dimple refuses. Arambhi takes Raj away to get him ready. Nandita thinks Raj does not like his mother’s choice. Dimple goes inside, and Nandita follows her to watch the drama unfold.
Raj feels frustrated in his room. Arambhi tries to calm him down. Raj asks, “How can Mom take such a big decision without asking my opinion?” He says, “I don’t want to do this roka.” Arambhi advises him to calm down and express his opinion politely to his mother instead of reacting angrily. Dimple, Vishwas, and Avantika enter the room. Dimple asks Arambhi, “Are you provoking Raj against me?” Raj says, “It’s my life, so why didn’t you ask for my opinion?” Dimple replies, “I never asked for your father’s opinion either, and I won’t ask Raj’s opinion too.”
Episode ends.
Precap – Dimple asks Raj to leave the house if he is against her wishes. Arambhi tries to stop her and asks Dimple to at least talk to Raj and find out whether he likes someone else. Avantika says, “Don’t tell me Raj likes that orphan, Manmeet.”
Our Take:
The episode strongly hints that Raj is emotionally trapped between his mother’s decision and his growing feelings for Manmeet. Dimple’s sudden roka announcement without even asking Raj’s opinion may create a major crack in their relationship. Arambhi seems to be the only one understanding Raj’s emotions and encouraging him to speak calmly instead of staying silent. On the other hand, Avantika’s insulting comment about Manmeet shows that accepting her into the family will not be easy. The upcoming drama may revolve around whether Raj finally stands for his love or sacrifices his happiness for his family’s wishes.
