The episode starts with Janani asking Visalatchi if she is proud of her sons’ misogynistic thoughts. She further says that Gunesekaran hurt Eshwari. Visalatchi says that Eshwari didn’t bother when Gunesekaran went missing. Eshwari asks if only wives should care and love while husbands disrespect them. Eshwari says that Visalatchi knew how Gunesekaran mistreated her, but she deliberately ignored it because she also thinks like Gunesekaran.
Eshwari says that society has changed, so she will not be silent anymore. Eshwari criticizes Visalatchi’s backward thinking and says that Visalatchi can survive in the current situation only if she changes her backward thinking. Eshwari tells about women achieving in every field, including space. Eshwari says that Gunesekaran talks like a fool and belittles women. Visalatchi gets angry and speaks ill of Eshwari, comparing Jeevanadam with Gunesekaran. Darshan and Dahrshini get angry and question Visalatchi about talking ill about Eshwari. They also admit that they wish to have a father like Jeevanadam, which enrages Visalatchi.
Meanwhile, the auditor and the lawyer reach the police station where Gnam, Kathir and Karikalan are already waiting. The auditor and the lawyer tell them that Gunesekaran isn’t kept in this police station. Karikalan says that the police might have encountered him. Kathir and Gnam shut him up. The lawyer and the auditor say that Gunesekaran will be taken directly to the judge’s house and he will definitely be taken to the police’s remand as Gunesekaran attacked the police. He adds that someone recorded the video of it. Kathir, Gnam and Karikalan get furious at hearing this and urge the lawyer and the auditor to take them to the judge’s house.
Eshwari, Renuka, Nandhini and Janani have a discussion. Eshwari tells about Visalatchi and the family’s men having backward thinking in this era. However, Eshwari is happy that the children have an open mind despite being brought up among them. Shakti says that the elders might misunderstand their talk. Janani supports children speaking the truth which they’re not able to. Shakti says that any one will get angry when he hears that their children compare their father with a stranger. Dharshini and Dharshan explain that they expect a father who is friendly and respects them, but Gunesekaran is the exact opposite.
Dharshan says that they wanted a father like Jeevanadam as he is a guide like them and respects them. Dharshan and Dharshini clarify their point of view. Janani supports them and encourages them. Janani tells about her dad deciding everything in her life including her wedding, but problems have come in her wedding, he asked her to handle them by herself. She further says that her dad stopped talking to her till today.
Just then, Natchiyappan arrives to Gunesekaran’s house. Nandhini sees him first and notifies to Janani. Janani and everyone are surprised at seeing Natchiyappan there. Janani welcomes him in and asks him how he is doing. She asks why he has suddenly arrived. Natchiyappan says that he doesn’t want to talk to anyone. He has come to invite Gunesekaran for a family function. Shakti asks if he was aware of what happened here. Natchiyappan refuses to talk to him. Just then, Visalatchi arrives and glares at Natchiyappan.
