The episode starts with Janani, the ladies and the children worrying about Eshwari who has gone in the morning, but hasn’t returned home yet. Shakti phones Eshwari’s dad to find out if Eshwari has gone to meet him. Shakti doesn’t say anything and disconnects the call when Eshwari’s dad asks about how Eshwari is doing. Shakti and Dharshan are about to leave to find Eshwari. The latter returns home crying. The family grows worried about seeing her in tears and asks her what happened.Â
Eshwari laments about putting down the people who want their betterment from the people who insult them. Eshwari bursts into tears. Renuka asks the children to go inside. But Dharshini refuses to leave Eshwari, who is crying. She asks Eshwari what happened. Eshwari asks Dharshini never to betray people who are truthful to her. She asks the children and Aadhirai to go inside. They leave.Â
Janani, Renuka and Nandhini ask Eshwari what happened. Janani says to Eshwari that she understands what she is feeling but she can’t tell her. Eshwari says that she’s not able. She breaks into tears by saying that she’s fake with the people who are truthful to her. Janani says to Eshwari that she will get her answers at the function organized by Pattamal, since she believes that it can bring big changes.Â
Venba refuses to go with Jeevanadam’s gang members and asks her to let her stay with Eshwari. Jeevanadam asks Venba to stop calling Eshwari mom, since she’s not her mom. Venba agrees to stay with the Jeevanadam gang members till his return and asks him to inform Eshwari to call her. Jeevanadam agrees and leaves.Â
Renuka and  tease Aadhirai by saying that she is quiet in front of Visalatchi and Jhansiraani. Visalatchi scolds the children about always answering backs to their fathers. Renuka’s daughter says that they’re not slaves to their parents which shocks Visalatchi. Nandhini supports her, Visalatchi says that she should have made them starve as punishment. Dharshini asks Visalatchi to stop always talking about food. She says that even animals eats food and live, but they can’t be like that as they have a sixth sense astonishing Visalatchi while Renuka and Nandhini enjoy it. Renuka’s daughter says that Visalatchi won’t understand this as she thinks women who get married and who are machine who gives birth to children.
Kathir intervenes and scolds them. Visalatchi says that they already talk to much and wonders how they will speak after getting married. Dharshan taunts Visalatchi about always thinking only about marriage. Kathir scolds him. Kathir takes Visalatchi aside. Kathir says to Visalatchi that he and Karikalan are leaving for village early. Karikalan says that they have to make some arrangements. Visalatchi asks Kathir to take Gnam with him. Kathir stops stops Karikalan before spilling the truth and says that Gnam should be at home to look after the family. Renuka and Nandhini hear their conversation. Nandhini grows suspicious and questions Karikalan if they are really going to make festival arrangements.
