By Gossips TV : Colors TV is set to introduce a significant reshuffle in its prime-time programming lineup starting January 5, aiming to strengthen viewership across key evening slots.
Mangal Lakshmi, starring Deepika Singh and Naman Shaw, will shift from its current slot to 8:30 pm. The show has been maintaining steady traction and the channel appears confident that the new slot will help it consolidate its audience base further during early prime time.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi Ka Safar, featuring Sanika Gaikwad and Manan Joshi in the lead roles, will move to the 9:00 pm slot. This shift positions the show in a stronger viewing band, suggesting that the channel sees long-term potential in its storyline and performances.
The reshuffle also makes way for Mahadev And Sons, which is slated to air at 9:30 pm, rounding off the prime-time fiction block with a fresh offering.
Additionally, Binddii, which currently airs at 8:30 pm, will take over the crucial 8:00 pm prime-time opener. The show recently underwent a generation leap and now stars Aashay Mishra and Shruti Choudhary in the lead roles. With a refreshed narrative and new faces, the shift to 8:00 pm indicates the channel’s renewed push to attract audiences right from the start of prime time.
With these changes, Colors TV is clearly recalibrating its weekday lineup to maximize reach, retention, and competitive positioning in the ongoing TRP battle.
