By Gossips TV : Binddii on Colors TV is set to go off-air later this month, with its final episode expected to air on January 30, according to well-placed sources. The decision comes after the show reportedly struggled to register stable viewership, despite undergoing a generation leap in a bid to refresh the narrative and attract a wider audience.
The daily soap initially featured Krushal Ahuja and Radhika Muthukumar in the lead roles and opened to a moderate response. While the storyline attempted to establish an emotional connect in its early phase, the channel later introduced a leap to rework the plot and bring in a new pairing. However, the expected turnaround in ratings did not materialise.
Adding to the challenge, Binddii recently witnessed a late-night slot shift to 10:30 pm, a move often considered difficult for daily fiction shows aiming to maintain consistent traction. Sources indicate that the decision to end the show was taken mutually, with the makers opting to conclude the journey without stretching the narrative further.
Although a section of viewers had shown curiosity about the post-leap track and the new on-screen dynamic, the show’s overall performance reportedly remained below expectations. The makers have therefore chosen to wrap up the project on a planned note.
Binddii is expected to be replaced by Colors TV’s upcoming reality format The 50, which is scheduled to premiere from February 1. The new show is positioned as part of the channel’s refreshed programming lineup for early 2026.
