By Anil Merani: New gal Priya Thakur is impressing one and all with her stellar performance in the Zee TV show Vasudha.

Priya and Nausheen Ali Sardar are the prominent faces of the show, which is the complex relationship between two women from different backgrounds.

Priya, who hails from   Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to get the lead role: ” The first assignment is always closest to your heart. I am very excited about what is going to happen next. I  am also learning a lot.”

“There is a lot of responsibility in connecting with the audience. Being a lead, you must give more time; even when I am off, I must ensure I am on call,” added she.

Although Priya is quite similar to Vasudha in real life (They talk the same way), there are also specific differences,” While she is a great cook, I dont like to make food. I do it   only when my mood fancies.”

Priyal, who started with Punjabi TV, shifted to Mumbai a few months back and is now doing a lead. ” The perception of the world towards me has changed. My friends, family, and teacher, who earlier ignored me, now try to act as if they played an essential role in my getting where I am. I know who to value and who to ignore. I have deleted some selfish people from my life, and I have deliberately created a boundary between myself and the world to stay sane.”

Priya is delighted to see the audience’s response shortly after the show’s premiere.” They laugh and cry with Vasudha, show sympathy, and openly discuss what they perceive as Vasudha’s mistakes.” Priya is pleased to connect with the audience in this way, which she sees as a testament to her dedication and the impact of her work.

Priya is having a great time working with a senior like Nausheen “She is very down to earth, and I dont fear working with her. She is very cool in giving and taking advice and asking what we feel about the shot.”

Priya expresses her admiration for her co-star, Abhishek Sharma. She appreciates his ability to lighten the mood on set and his willingness to share his knowledge. Priya’s humility and eagerness to learn from everyone is evident in her words.

Priya’s dedication to her craft is evident in the sacrifices she’s made. She’s always known that success would require her to give up time with her family and friends. She couldn’t even go home for Diwali, a significant festival in India. But she’s confident that her hard work and sacrifices will one day lead to the rewards of success. This commitment to her career is something the audience can admire and respect.
