By Anil Merani| Talented actor Vishal Aditya Singh is quite excited about his new Colors show, Chand Jalne Laga which premiered last night. Vishal earned his spur courtesy shows such as Begusarai and Chandrakanta.
We buzzed Vishal for a quick interview on his new show excerpts.
What would your character do in Chand Jalne Laga?
My character will make a friend and fall in love. The show shows how lives get entangled, wondering whether it is love or friendship.
It is a hardcore love saga with space for no one else after a long time; such a love story has come about.
We have a male-centric story, hence the title Chand Jalne Laga. A shining moon symbolizes love. A man represents the sun’s heat, while a woman is considered cooler; consequently, when both meet, the heat is also passed to the latter.
Experience of working with co-star Kanika Mann?
Kanika is an outstanding, talented, and more mature actor than me. She knows how to make a co-star comfortable. When you do a passionate story, there is a certain amount of closeness and touching; here, she is a thorough professional.
How do you see your journey?
Blessed with no education, no connection to acting, and no dressing sense to have done shows across all channels. I have also reached the finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi and Nach Baliye and the top six of Big Boss. I credit luck and hard work.
Which other characters are there on your bucket list?
I would love to essay the Desi Joker, an Indian superhero like Sabu, an ordinary person with no confidence, and, last but not least, a man who has fallen in love with a twenty-year-old woman.
