By Anil Merani: Pratiksha has broken her silence on her departure from the long-running Star Plus show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehelata Hai”, where she and her rumored boyfriend, Shehzada Dhami, were fired by producer Rajan Shahi due to alleged unprofessional behavior.

Shehzada had recently given a tell-all interview with a popular YouTuber, alleging that Rajan ji had spoken ill about his parents. However, Pratiksha firmly denied any romantic involvement with Shehzada, even in the face of his alleged support when the director mistreated her (as per Shehzada’s interview).

Pratiksha defended herself by pointing out that her folks were shocked at the allegations as she never raised her voice. She admitted initially receiving smaller offers due to Rajan ji’s public rebuke, but her fortunes changed with “Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye”.

She tactfully avoided answering pointed questions, stating that she had moved on. Reflecting on the situation, I find myself supporting Pratiksha’s stance. It’s clear that airing personal grievances in public is counterproductive, especially when it involves one of the industry’s biggest personalities.

By maintaining her composure, Pratiksha has left the door open for potential future collaborations with DKP. Let’s not forget that she was collateral damage in the heated feud between Shehzada and Rajan Shahi.

Furthermore, she wants to make a fresh start by distancing herself from Shehzada. She realized that closeness with the latter was not good for her health. If Shehzada does enter Bigg Boss OTT 3, his motives would be clear, but silence is better for someone who wants to keep her head down.
