By Gossips TV : Star Plus is set to expand its fiction slate with a brand-new show titled Shri Aur Shrimati Parshuram. The channel has officially greenlit the project as an adaptation of Star Jalsha’s popular Bengali series Parashuram – Ajker Nayok. The Hindi remake will be produced by Blue Productions, marking yet another collaboration between the banner and Star Plus.
Blue Productions is currently enjoying a successful run on the channel with Aarti Anjali Awasthi, and Shri Aur Shrimati Parshuram will further strengthen their association. The production house is known for presenting socially rooted narratives with strong emotional cores, and the upcoming show is expected to follow a similar storytelling approach.
The original Bengali series Parashuram – Ajker Nayok revolves around an ordinary man with extraordinary values. Parashuram is portrayed as a principled, honest individual who stands up against corruption and social injustice in his own unique way. Despite his simplicity, he often finds himself at the center of larger societal conflicts, becoming an unlikely hero for the common people. The narrative balances social commentary with family drama, emotional relationships, and light-hearted moments.
In the Hindi adaptation, Shri Aur Shrimati Parshuram is expected to retain the essence of the original while being tailored to suit the sensibilities of the Hindi television audience. The title hints at a strong marital dynamic, suggesting that the story will also explore the partnership between Parshuram and his wife, highlighting mutual respect, companionship, and shared values.
Casting details and the premiere date are yet to be announced. However, with a proven storyline and an experienced production house backing it, Shri Aur Shrimati Parshuram is already generating strong curiosity among viewers.
