By Gossips TV : Star Plus’ show Sampoorna, starring Aham Sharma, Sandipta Sen and Vishal Aditya Singh in lead roles, is reportedly set to go off-air later this month. The show, which initially launched with considerable expectations, was positioned as a limited series of around 100 episodes. However, due to a lukewarm audience response and lack of anticipated traction in ratings, the channel has decided to conclude the show earlier than originally planned.
According to sources close to the production, the cast wrapped up their final shoot just yesterday, bringing the journey of the show to an abrupt end. Sampoorna attempted to deliver a layered narrative showcasing emotional complexities and strong character arcs, but it struggled to maintain consistent engagement in a highly competitive prime-time slot.
The slot currently occupied by Sampoorna is likely to witness a new launch soon. Buzz suggests that the show may be replaced by one of Star Plus’ upcoming presentations – either Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki or Tod Kar Dil Mera. Both projects are already generating discussion due to their fresh casting and storyline premises. However, an official confirmation regarding which show will directly take over Sampoorna’s time slot is yet to be announced by the channel.
With Sampoorna concluding its run, viewers now await Star Plus’ next programming move and what new narrative will soon step into the lineup.
