Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature. So, on 25th March, people around the planet will switch off all modes of electricity for an hour, from 8.30 to 9.30 pm. And our TV stars too, have their own ideas of how they will participate in the exercise, or go beyond just switching off for an hour and show just how much they care for our sweet earth!
Mrunal Jain  The highest consumers of electricity are AC’s, filament bulbs, ovens water geysers and old electrical equipment. So, it’s better we keep a check on them when in use and remember to switch it off when not in use. I would actually love it if there was no electricity for the whole night. Just imagine the peace around. There would be absolute darkness and one could be with mother nature, gazing at the moon and stars. I would do nothing and just enjoy the serenity till it lasts.
Laksh: While it’s very important to inculcate that thought that we need to save the planet, it’s a bit ironic. Because, its not the earth that we are saving by conserving powet. We are saving our selves! The planet will be fine after we are gone. It may even flourish! Jokes aside, I will switch off and go for a walk or probably meditate!
Rishina Kandhari :Â When it comes to saving power, I do all I can. And that’s all it takes, really. If people can do little things like operate the air conditioning at 23, turn lights off, use regular water and not geysers for bathing and update their electronic equipment to conserve electricity, we can all make a difference. During Earth hour, I will sit with my friends and probably play board games in a candle-lit room!
Ramman Handa :Â I would shut all lights and listen to soft music on my mobile. Electricity saving is so important for everyone. Amitabh Bacchan is supproting such an intiative which is quite motivating.

Ridheema Tiwary: It’s good when a celebrity like Amitabh supports such an initiative. I would mostly be out shooting only. At home I will ensure electricity and TV is kept off. Electricity saving is very important and kids must be taught for sure.
