Talented and versatile actor Ha Jung Woo known for his blockbuster movies “Handmaiden,” “Tunnel,” “Along With The Gods “Two Worlds,” “Hijack” and more is set to lead a new thriller drama “The Landlord”.

On January 14, a media outlet reported that Ha Jung Woo and Krystal will star in the upcoming drama “The Landlord”

In response to the report, Ha Jung Woo’s agency WALKHOUSE COMPANY confirmed that the actor is playing the lead role in the upcoming drama “The Landlord.” However Krystal’s agency Beasts And Natives Alike (BANA) stated that Krystal received an offer and they will update regarding her appearance in the upcoming drama.

“The Landlord” is a thriller that follows a struggling landlord who somehow gets entangled in crime in order to protect his family and property. While he managed to achieve the status of a landlord, his increasing debts leads him to partake in a staged kidnapping. However, chaos begins when the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns real.

Ha Jung Woo will portray Ki Soo Jong, a gentle and responsible family-oriented man. The situation with mounting debts, however force him into a kidnapping scheme, marking a dramatic turning point in his life.
