Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar turns 90 today. Here is what these telly actors have to say about her.

Arun Mandola: All I can say is that she is the mother of Bollywood music. She transformed the entire film industry because of her contribution to Bollywood music. Words are less to describe Lata Ji. She is incredible, and I just want to say that we will never forget your contribution. I love her song “Satyam Shivam Sundaram” and “Aaj Phir Jeene ki Tammana hai”.

Rehaan Roy: Lata Mangeshkar is a legend. I feel music starts with her and ends at her. We can’t even begin to fathom her contribution to the film industry. She is like the goddess of music. On her 90th birthday, I would love to wish her a very happy birthday and great health.

Nishant Malkani: Firstly, I would like to wish her a very happy birthday as she is turning 90! What a happy feeling! She has dedicated her entire life to Bollywood and she is known as the “Nightingale”. She is a legendary singer and Bharat Ratan awardee. I love her song “Bahon Mein Chale Aao”.

Ansh Bagri: Lata Mangeshkar Ji will be completing 90 years and I wanted to wish her on this special birthday. Her contribution to the Indian film industry is very important. I think when we talk about the Indian film industry, there are few people who represent and take the industry to another level. Like Amitabh Bachchan has done for acting, Lata Mangeshkar Ji has taken signing to another level and inspired many people to be singers. Lakhs of people listen to her and will always listen her. If I talk about my father, he was always a big fan of Lata Mangeshkar and since childhood, I have heard her songs. There many of her songs which I love but the ones from Silsila are my favourite. Also, I love. “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon”. The way she has sung gives me goosebumps.

Ssharad Malhotra: Lata Mangeshkar Ji is the best known and most respected singer. She has inspired many of us and has a different kind of spirit. She has changed the face of Bollywood music. I love her songs and my favorite is “Lag Ja Gale”.

Aniruddh Dave: I love “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo” and the way she sang “Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jana Sanam” from “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” is insanely melodious. I wish her all the best and we have grown up hearing her song.
