Q1. You’ve been named Television’s Most Coveted Star. What does this recognition mean to you personally?
Harshad Chopda:
As an actor, I know my journey is from being not known to being unknown. And in between, God’s been kind. So personally, I feel lucky, blessed, and fortunate – being completely aware that it’s my time which is good, not necessarily me (sometimes I am also, but not always 😉).

Q2. 2025 has been a significant year for you. How would you describe it in your own words?
Harshad Chopda:
It’s been a very happy, healing, and rewarding year.
—
Q3. Your bond with the audience has remained strong across different phases of your career. What do you think sustains that connection?
Harshad Chopda:
A – I don’t know.
B – It’s not me, it’s them.
Through this response, Harshad humbly credits the audience for the lasting bond he shares with them, believing that their love is a choice they continue to make rather than something he consciously sustains.

Q4. How do you balance popularity with choosing roles that help you grow as an actor?
Harshad Chopda:
I focus on choosing a story, a character which helps me grow as an actor – which challenges me, which motivates me, which excites me, and which is of a certain standard and quality. Everything else is a byproduct.

Q5. You’ve been part of some very popular on-screen collaborations, from Bepannah to Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. How do you look back at those journeys and the audience love they continue to receive?
Harshad Chopda:
Their love is gold, and I am glad. I wouldn’t like it any other way.
—
Q6. Is there a particular phase in your career that shaped you the most as an artist?
Harshad Chopda:
As far as the craft is concerned, I’m still under construction. But the technical part of acting – trust me, there is one – was shaped in the initial phase of my career.
—
Q7. What does success on television mean to you today, compared to when you first started out?
Harshad Chopda:
When I started, there was no concept of success. It was only learning the lines and doing the best I could. And today, I have a reputation to protect – not only mine, but also of people who support me. So it’s still about learning the lines and doing the best I can.
—
Q8. How do you manage expectations that come with being one of the most admired faces on Indian television?
Harshad Chopda:
I don’t manage anything. I work at my own pace. And if you see, they just want me to do quality work, which is not expecting too much.
—
Q9. How important is staying grounded amid recognition and appreciation?
Harshad Chopda:
It’s not important. It’s just a choice.
—
Q10. Finally, a message for your fans whose constant support continues to inspire you.
Harshad Chopda:
Words come easily, efforts do not. Making excuses – even valid ones – is easy. Choosing not to is hard. Everyone carries their own burdens. That’s why it takes a special kind of person to step out of their life or routine and put in real efforts for someone else. I just want you to know that your efforts can be felt. You are special. I am deeply grateful and will always be. I promise to keep doing my best.
