By Anil Merani: Talented actor Neetu Wadhwa has just entered the Star Plus series, Ghum Hai Kisi Key Pyaar Meiin

Neetu’s journey in Ghum Hai Kisi Key Pyaar Meiin began on 31st Jan, and her character, Amrita, debuted last week. Amrita, a character with a positive start, will evolve into a more complex and intriguing persona over time.

Neetu Wadhwa shares her perspective on TV roles, expressing that playing an antagonist character often leads to more recognition. While important, she believes that the ‘good chachi or bua’ roles may not always receive the same level of attention from the audience.

This is Neetu’s second tryst with Ghum makers, Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment. She had worked on their previous show, Teri Meri Dooriyan.  “I got a lot of love for my stint as Prabhyot.”

“Everyone wants to work with good people, but things must fall into creative and other areas. I was lucky to be working with the same team on the same channel within a short time. This usually does not happen.”

“It feels like family again with the same people on Ghum Se. it “appears that I have gone on a holiday and am back home.”

Neetu feels blessed to be a part of a big show like Ghum. “It is a huge responsibility to enter as a new family, But I am confident that we will rock, for we have a great story to play with. I am sure the new leads, Param Singh and Vaibhavi Hankare, will rock.

Some people feel earlier leads, i.e. Ayesha Singh and Bhavika Sharma, should not have been changed?

“No doubt the above duo did a great job making the show what it is now.   But you can’t carry on indefinitely, for the audience is always looking for freshness.”

“I hope the audience gives the same love to our generation as they did with the previous families. Their support will allow us to work that much harder.”

“The challenge here is that there are so many characters around that the writers might find it difficult to do justice to all.”

You been absent after impressing one and all with Devyani till TMD” Yes, there was a break because of family issues, and I was also busy setting up my healthy eating business.

“But now, I am fully committed to acting. I have a good team handling my work.”

Neetu is looking forward to more glamorous roles in web series and films. “I have the body and confidence to carry them off. However, I will draw a line about being vulgar. For I have to respect the sentiments of myTV audience as well.”

A time will come when women my age will be given more juicy TV roles. “For now, we mostly have to do with chachi.   We have much more to offer.” ended she
