The episode starts with Aryan coming back to Arpita and asks her why she has to leave after marriage. Why cant she stay with him? He says he will change such bad customs as he is Aryan Singh Rathore. He adds when Arpita will become mother, she will forget him and will love her kids only. Arpita says her kids will call him Mamu so he will love them more. Aryan hugs her and she wipes his tears. Imlie holds Aryan’s hand and he thanks her.
Narmada tells the house helps to check the things she ordered to fulfil Nanda’s demands. Nanda says Tilak ritual won’t happen if anything is missing which is there in the list. Narmada reads out the list one by one and says she ordered everything. Nanda gets happy and Narmada says to the house help that noone should know about the dowry items. Imlie comes and asks Narmada what she is doing, the latter lies that she was checking the Puja ingredients. Imlie gets suspicious.
During the wedding rituals Imlie wonders how Nanda and Nila are looking so happy all of a sudden. Aryan asks her whom she is looking at and why she is distracted when she only wanted this marriage more than anyone. Imlie says she can’t stare at him everytime. Aryan mistakenly says her eyes are perfect and then he lies that he said another word. Imlie then goes to tie the wedding knot and tells Nanda that she has to answer the Police now. Nanda gets scared and confesses that she doesn’t want to get arrested and Imlie should send back the Police.
Nila also gets afraid. Imlie says that was all a lie and they confessed their crime. She says why an educated pretty girl like Arpita is not enough for Sundar, why they want dowry. The certain lifeless things are more valuable than a human? She says no dowry will be given to Sundar’s family. Nanda tells Sundar to leave if they can’t give dowry. Sundar says he had no idea about all this, else he would have stopped. Nanda scolds him and badmouths Arpita.
Imlie says Sundar is not a kid, he earns money and he can take his life decisions. Narmada asks Imlie not to create scene as they are just sending gifts for Arpita. Nothing else. Imlie says she has seen bride’s families are pleading before the money lenders in her village. She saw many heartbreaking cases related to dowry just because the bride is not self sufficient and not educated. So Narmada should not support such evil customs. Sundar says he is not going anywhere but he will marry Arpita only.
Imlie says she has an idea and she asks for a big scale. Where Arpita will sit and they will check if the dowry items are heavier than her or not. If Arpita is heavier then they have to take her home. Nanda says its a stupid idea but Nila says Imlie wont lose that easily. The dowry items seem less heavier. Imlie says Arpita’s simplicity is heavier than all the stuffs and Nila makes those cartons fall down from the scale. She says Imlie took out all the stuffs from the cartons.
