Sanjay is not only a dedicated officer but also Anvita’s (played by Sumbul Touqeer) childhood friend and silent admirer. His character adds a deeper emotional layer to the narrative, as his quiet love for Anvita remains unspoken yet powerful.
Sanjay is portrayed as a man who doesn’t seek the spotlight. He may be reserved, but he’s dependable – someone who shows up when it matters most. His role brings in a potential love triangle between Anvita, Sanjay, and Virat (played by Rajat Verma), promising emotional conflict and delicate relationship dynamics.
In his interview, Rishi Saxena expressed excitement about playing a grounded, relatable character. He mentioned that what drew him to Sanjay was the simplicity and quiet strength he embodies — a man who might never get the girl, but never stops caring.
Rajat Verma is playing one sided love Virat in the show, the show is set to premiere in August. The show also stars Varun Badola as Sumbul Touqeer’s father in the show. The show is the remake of American Comedy drama Shameless.
