Jennifer Winget back as Maya with a crazier storm in ‘Beyhadh 2’

‘Beyhadh’ is remembered as a cult that took Indian Television by storm. Jennifer Winget shone brighter than ever and played the victim of obsession in this physcological thriller drama in such a way that it was loved by all.


Jennifer played the role of strong and bold Maya Mehrotra who has physcological issues because of her troubled childhood and goes on to become a obsessive lover destroying everyone who comes in her way. The character went on to become her most praised among all the characters she has played previously. Now the show is finally coming back with a Season 2 and fans are excited.

There have been a lot of speculations regarding Jennifer reprising the role of Maya Mehrotra in Season 2. Reports suggested that she might not return to don Maya’s cap in the second season. While another suggested that Surbhi Jyoti might be the new Maya.
Yesterday though giving rest to every rumour, Jennifer took to Instagram to announce the much awaited sequel of ‘Beyhadh’.

 



Ameeta Devadiga, the fiction head of Cinevistaas shared the same picture and captioned it saying, ‘Ishq wo jo bepannah ho, nafrat wo jo beintehaa ho, aur junoon wo jiski hadh hi BEYHADH ho’

While it is clear that Jennifer Winget will be back as Maya, its still not clear who will be the male lead opposite her. Kushal Tandon, who played the Maya ‘obsession’ last year has already said he wouldn’t be taking up the show.
Well talking about the fans, Bepannah had TV’s two best talents, Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget and the chemistry between both of them was appreciated and the love for the two spread like wildfire and fans want to see this pairing back in Beyhadh. Now, if this wish of fans come true or not is something to be seen.
For now, we are excited to have Jennifer Winget as the badass boss lady Maya Mehrotra back and as she asked us to be let’s get ready for a crazier storm!
