The episode begins with Abhimanyu telling Aniruddh that they can’t stay there because Rishi got insulted. The guest says she just said the truth and her intention is not to insult anyone. Sanjhbati asks them to not drag this matter. Putul says Aditi and her family did not disrespect them, so they should not leave. Dadabhai says broken relationships should not be judged. Jhanak tells Rishi that she knows he got hurt. But they love and respect him. Rishi smiles at her. Putul says, “Let’s continue the ceremony.”
The priest calls Aniruddh and Arshi to bless the couple. Koushik says Rishi did not bless them yet. Rishi asks what the need is for it. Koushik says it’s wrong to pretend there was no past, so they should accept the past. And they can move on if Rishi blesses them then. Aditi asks him what he is doing. Koushik tells her this is for everyone’s well-being. Jhanak says she thinks Rishi should bless the couple. Tanushri agrees with Jhanak.
Rishi blesses Koushik and Aditi. And gives marriage advice to them. He tells Koushik to take care of Aditi well. Aditi says thanks and sorry to Rishi. Rishi tells her it’s fine. Putul says enough of emotional talks. Aniruddh and Arshi bless the couple.
The next day, a guest asks Anjana whether Arshi is still Aniruddh’s wife or not. Anjana asks why that matters. Jhanak says Arshi is Aditi’s mother; that’s enough. The guest says Jhanak won’t understand all this. Because Aniruddh claimed he married Nutan, but no one witnessed that. And they know Jhanak fought in the court. She says society needs proof for everything. Anjana asks the guest to stop it. The guest says she is just telling the truth.
Jhanak says society did wrong with her. The guest says Arshi should not touch rasam ki haldi today. She asks whether Jhanak did not learn anything from her mother. Jhanak asks what guests know about her mother. She scolds guests for talking about Nutan. The guest says Jhanak did not get a good upbringing; that’s why the latter did not understand her. Aniruddh and Arshi comes there. Aniruddh asks what’s happening there. Guest says Aniruddh and Arshi are divorced so Arshi can’t be part of this ritual. Jhanak asks the guest to not interfere in their family matter.
The guest tells Aniruddh that she has already heard so many rumors about him and Nutan. She asks him whether he married that Nutan. Jhanak says she can’t hear all this. Aditi asks why Arshi can’t be part of this ritual when Arshi is still her mother. Aniruddh says Arshi is Aditi’s mother and no one can come in between mother and daughter.
A man comes there and asks whether Aniruddh remembers Tejas. He says Aniruddh and Nutan went to a new restaurant after their marriage, and the restaurant clicked a photo of them. So he came to give that photo to Aniruddh. Aniruddh gets emotional seeing his and Nutan’s photo. He recalls the past. That man thanks Aniruddh for saving Nutan from Tejas. Aniruddh thanks him for giving that photo. Jhanak also gets emotional seeing the photo. Aditi asks Arshi whether the latter is fine. Aniruddh tells Jhanak that he married her mother. He hugs her.
The episode ends.
Precap: Jhanak asks Rishi whether he is sad because Aditi is getting married. Rishi asks her why she is involving Aditi in every matter. He says the problem is not Aditi but the transfer order. Jhanak asks him when he has to leave. Rishi says he will talk to his senior to reconsider. And if nothing works out, then he has leave in a week.
Our take: Jhanak should really stop assuming that Aditi still affects Rishi in no way. Arshi and Aniruddh should stay like this instead of reconciling for their peace.
