The episode begins with Parashar telling villagers that he is the father of Nutan’s baby and his baby will stay in this village. A man says Nutan Parashar’s wife so they can’t punish anyone. Sarpanch agrees. Bua says she won’t accept Nutan and the baby. Parashar says he arranged a new house so he will stay with Nutan and the baby in that house. Kanka taunts Parashar. Parashar says Kanka doesn’t have any rights to question him. The sarpanch tells Kanka to go home and leaves from there.
Nutan asks Parashar what he did. Parashar tells her he did not have any other choice. He says he did not say Nutan is his wife. Nutan tells him his announcement has been proved; she is his wife. Parashar says he gave the father’s name to the baby for the baby’s sake, and it’s not like he wants to marry Nutan. Parashar’s gang asks Parashar to give a party for becoming a father. Parashar says the party will happen for the baby first. He invites everyone to his house this evening for a party. He gives the baby to Kanka and says the baby needs Maasi’s love too.
On the other hand, Jimli tells Apu they can’t live without the latter. Apu says she knows that; that’s why she doesn’t even go to Anjana. She asks them to not cry if she dies in the hospital then. She tells Kajol to give so much love to Lalon. Kajol tells Apu she will leave from there and won’t return. Apu says she doesn’t want to die, and her parents will suffer if she dies then. She asks for food. Anjana says she will cook and goes inside. Lalon, Kajol, and Jimli hug Apu.
Later, Lalon goes to the Bose house. Anjana asks Lalon why he looks tense. Aniruddh asks Lalon about reports. Lalon says Apu doesn’t have many days to live. Everyone gets shocked hearing this. Aniruddh asks Lalon what happened to Apu. Lalon apologizes to Aniruddh. He reveals Apu has cancer. He asks Aniruddh to say how to save Apu and cries.
In the village, Parashar enters his house and says he came to apologize to Nutan. Nutan tells him it’s not a matter whether he apologizes or not. Parashar asks her whether she has any problem with the party. Nutan asks him whether her opinion matters for him. She compares Parashar with goons. Parashar asks her to not make him angry. Nutan tells him she is not afraid of anyone. She asks Parashar how he can give a baby to Kanka. Parashar tells her they need Kanka’s support to live peacefully in the village. Nutan tells him they should not talk like this alone inside the room. She informs Parashar she will start her work from tomorrow. Parashar asks her to start mingling with villagers.
Nutan tells him the baby won’t stay there forever. Parashar tells her he knows that and says he doesn’t have any rights on Nutan and the baby. He says he helped Nutan as a gentleman. Nutan asks him why he keeps saying this. Parashar tells her because she is insulting him by comparing him with goons. He asks Nutan about dinner. Nutan replies she will eat tomorrow.
Parashar says Nutan should work and eat well, else villagers will say he is not taking care of his wife. Nutan tells him villagers may say he should live with her in this room. Parashar asks her why he will do that when he doesn’t have any rights on her. He says he also has self-respect and warns Nutan not to disrespect her. He adds he doesn’t want Nutan to see his bad side.
Meanwhile, Apu’s parents and Aniruddh go to Lalon’s house. Anjana cries, hugging Apu. Apu asks Anjana to not cry because she is alive now. Anjana asks what sin she committed and cries. Kajol asks Anjana not to cry in front of Apu. Lalon says he won’t trust anything if anything happens to Apu then. He asks why God is doing this. Aniruddh tells Lalon to not be emotional and think practically. He says he will take Apu to Mumbai to give the best treatment. Lalon says he will earn money for treatment. Aniruddh says he will take care of the expense because he is the brother of Apu. He tells Apu that she will be fine soon.
Kanka comes to Parashar’s house with the baby and gives the baby to Nutan. She asks Parashar what he saw in Nutan. Parashar tells her he will tell her when Nutan is not with them. He asks Kanka to arrange dinner for them tonight. Kanka asks him whether she is mad to do that. Parashar says he has to stay hungry tonight. Nutan tells him she doesn’t eat dinner. Parashar tells Kanka he knows she is soft from inside. Kanka says she will bring food. Parashar says he is leaving for a meeting. He tells Kanka to take care of Nutan and leaves from there. Nutan wonders why her path is always difficult.
