The episode starts with Do Ha panicking knowing that Sol Hee saw his face without a mask and leaves hurriedly. Deuk Chan comes there and he tells him about Sol Hee seeing his face. Deuk Chan gets surprised knowing that she was the same girl who helped him 5 Years back on the bus and also says that he can’t live all his life wearing a mask. He says he’s paying too much attention over his face but Do Ha is not convinced. Sol Hee searches for information about Do Ha and finds that he’s super rich and a talented person. She reprimands herself for her misunderstanding. She then comes to her cafe and Chi Hoon again pesters about Do Ha. He says that no one ever saw his face and Sol Hee wondered the reason for it. Sol Hee overheard two guys conversation and laughs at the number of lies told in the conversation. One of them tried hitting on her but she turned him down. Lee Kang Min gets shifted to Sol Hee’s place as he gets transferred. He greets his colleagues a day before joining.
Sol Hee finds Do Ha not back home and wonders if she’s the reason. Later, she bumps with Do Ha and apologizes for seeing his face out of curiosity. Do Ha gets surprised that she just thinks his face is handsome and nothing more. A man suddenly rushes to Sol Hee and asks for her phone to call as he lost his. Do Ha tries stopping her but still she gives the phone as she knows that he’s not lying. Do Ha gets even more surprised when she gives him money borrowing it from Do Ha as he wants to go back home and promises to pay her back. Do Ha finds her super nice to believe anyone who’s in trouble to help her. However Sol Hee helped only after confirming that he doesn’t like. Do Ha think that he is over imagining things about Sol Hee. Syaon falls off from the stage while performing and Do Ha just calls her to check on her health. Deuk Chan easily catches her for falling down only to get Do Ha’s attention but says that he’s not interested in her. Her fans including Chi Hoon were protesting outside hospital to protect Syaon. Chi Hokn gets surprised as ge bumps with Syaon in convenience store.
Sol Hee’s mother Hyang Suk tries portraying herself to be broken to even afford good food but Sol Hee only agrees to believe her if she proves it in person and cuts the call. She finds a mother daughter duo who were ready to sacrifice their food for one another despite being hungry given their monetary issues. Sol Hee silently pays for their bill too. Deuk Chan’s brother Jae Chan gets his pay cut off for over using company credits and he tries persuading his brother to give him more money. However he refuses to his pleadings and Jae Chan silently sneaks away with his car keys. He checks the memory to find that So Ha is somewhere in Yeonseodang and takes a picture of it. Sol Hee meets with a client who wants to test her boyfriend’s loyalty using Sol Hee. Sol Hee’s mother Hyang Suk knocks at Do Ha’s door thinking it to be Sol Hee’s but soon Sol Hee comes there. she tries pretending like she can’t talk so that Sol Hee can’t catch her lie but Sol Hee knows her like the back of her hand. Later her mother guilt trips on her own daughter and demands to compensate for her loss with money. It was a mistake Sol Hee did when she was an elementary kid at that. Sol Hee gives her the money nevertheless. Do Ha listen to all their conversations.
Sol Hee recalls losing all her money to one of her mother’s victims as her mother conned the victim who was badly in need of surgery. Sol Hee is standing on the balcony and so does Do Ha. Sol Hee asks if he heard everything and says her family is quite problematic and also shares her bad equation with her mother. Do Ha says it’s the same for him and says that all families have problems. Sol Hee feels comforted by him. Syaon does a commercial in order to get Do Ha’s location for Jae Chan and he gives her the address. Do Ha and Sol Hee bump in the lift when Do Ha overhears her talking about her client’s blind date. He mistakes it to be hers. Sol Hee finds Kang Min outside her shop while he’s patrolling but is not sure if he’s the one. Sol Hee joins her client’s dinner with her boyfriend and finds that all he said was a lie. The client gets disheartened and breaks down once her fiancee leaves. Sol Hee recalls Kang Min proposing to her with a ring. The client asks why she can’t lie to her as she doesn’t want to accept her boyfriend’s truth.
The client gives her the money asking her to leave and asks if it feels really good that she could hear everyone’s lies. She just wants to live with the lie and just then her fiancee proposes to her. She accepts it knowing well that it’s all fake. Sol Hee leaves keeping back the money and feels miserable upon being able to hear every lie around. She recalls breaking up with Kang Min as he continued lying to her and wanted her to break up with him . She goes to Do Ha’s jazz bar and starts having alcohol. Her ex client’s boyfriend bumps with her as he had lost his rich life because of Sol Hee. He gets into a fight with her. Do Ha sees them together and thinks that she’s having a blind drinking date with the person. However he steps in when the person tries grabbing her by collar and takes Sol Hee with him.
Sol Hee cribs her heart out to Do Ha who couldn’t understand anything she said . Syaon gazed around Yoonseodan to find a glimpse of Do Ha but couldn’t find him. Do Ha have a late realisation that he’s not wearing his mask around Sol Hee and immediately wears it. Sol Hee takes him to a hangover soup shop and they give two portions to them . Do Ha tries avoiding it but Sol Hee makes him seated facing her and lets him have the food. He really enjoys the food. As they come back home Sol Hee says Do Ha that everyone has their own busy lives and they have no time to check out his face. She asks him to stop wearing the mask and leaves. But to the contrary, she finds reporters checking out the name list in the letter box as they suspected Do Ha to be there as Syaon was gazing around the place. Sol Hee understands it and tries protecting Do Ha by hiding his face who comes without a mask. She tries covering his face pretending to be his girlfriend.
