The episode starts with Saradha talking with Vennila over phone. Saradha refuses to return to Chennai and asks Vennila to concentrate on her studies. Mahadevan listens to old songs and sings loudly. Saradha get irritated hearing Mahadevan singing. She comes out of the house and asks Mahadevan to turn off the music. She asks Mahadevan to leave, the neighbors may starts gossiping. Mahadevan says that she doesn’t care about what others thinks. Mahadevan hits a mosquito. Saradha calls Mahadevan inside the house. Mahadevan gets elated and thinks of somehow convincing her to return to Chennai. Mahadevan says to Saradha that he will accompany her to the college and wherever she goes. Saradha taunts him saying that he didn’t come with her when she left the house. Mahadevan ignores her taunt and says that he will help her to do household works and will stay with her until she changes her mind and agree to return to Chennai.
Soumiya is in the kitchen washing the vessels. Vennila is talking with Soumiya. Madhavan comes there and shows concern for Soumiya. He asks Soumiya not to cook today and take rest, he will order food online. Madhavan asks her parents what they want for dinner. Madhavan parents say not to waste money ordering outside and scolds Soumiya. Madhavan says that it was his decision to order food from the restaurant. He orders masala dosai for everyone. Madhavan parents complain that Madhavan is wasting the money.
Rupa deliveres the food to Madhavan. Madhavan parents enquire Rupa about the food delivery job. Vennila gets surprised Rupa there. Vennila calls out Soumiya and introduces Rupa and Soumiya to each other. Madhavan mother, Maragadam taunts Vennila saying that she also wanted to do food delivery job and asks if she has run away from her village to do this job. Rupa collects the money and leaves. Vennila asks Maragadam, why she insulted her in front of Rupa. Maragadam says that she will do like this and reminds her that she is temporary paid guest here.
Bhanumathi and Shyamala gives food plate to Surya and asks him to convince Meenakshi to have food. Surya goes to Meenakshi and asks her to have food. Meenakshi refuses. Surya says that he will not eat if she doesn’t have food. Meenakshi says that she isn’t his mother, so she doesn’t have any importance for him. Surya assures her that she’s important for him and says that he will never put her down for anyone. Meenakshi complains that Surya has changed and he doesn’t listen to her words anymore. Surya says that he’s always her Surya and he will never change. He requests Meenakshi to eat. He feeds the food to Meenakshi. Meenakshi says that she’s not angry with him, but upset that he doesn’t listen to her anymore. Surya assures Meenakshi that he will not do anything without telling her. Surya says that he wants to meet Saradha. Meenakshi looks shocked.
