In the latest ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2’ episode, Maasi testifies against Veena saying she never liked him and would never accept him as his son-in-law. When the lawyer asks her, if she could have gone to any extent to harm him, Maasi answers yes leaving Prerna shocked. Ajit doesn’t question Maasi. In a flashback, viewers get to know he is paid by Maasi.
Anupam calls Anurag and informs he is in court and informs that it looks like Prerna’s lawyer wants to lose the case. Prerna calls Anurag but couldn’t get through. Anurag calls Malkhani and asks him to take over. Sanjay calls the last witness.
The witness is a worker named Rahul who testifies against Veena too. Sanjay is content and asks him to leave. He asks Veena if she likes Mr. Bajaj or not. Veena says she hates him. The court comes to the conclusion that Veena is indeed guilty. Just when they were going to announce the punishment, Mr.Bajaj comes there and stops them.
Mr.Bajaj tells the court that its his fault. Veena had warned him but he ignored her. He had asked to do the job with any average quality rope which is the reason she wasn’t talking to him too.
The court considers Mr.Bajaj’s statement and announces Veena innocent and releases her. Everyone is happy and relieved. They hug Veena. Mr. Bajaj stumbles. Maasi hold him. Mr. Bajaj falls again in Prerna’s arms and faints.
Anurag reaches and sees them hugging. Shekhar with the help of ward boy takes Mr.Bajaj out. Anurag walks on the road and thinks of Prerna and Mr. Bajaj. He sits and cries.
Now, in the upcoming episode, viewers will see Nivedita shocked to spot dejected Anurag while Prerna tends to Mr. Bajaj. Later, Tanvi concocts a plan to separate them.
