The episode starts with soldiers trying to attack Mastani. Baji hears noise and goes to rescue her. He fights with them with his sword and there Kashi holds Nana in her arms. Ganga tells her about the attack and Kashi says nothing wrong should happen to Mastani else Baji will be out of control. Matang worries for Mastani and the latter defeats the soldiers bravely.
Kashi gives Nana to Ganga and tells her to take care of him. Kashi goes to see what’s happening. Mastani and Baji keep fighting the soldiers. Mastani is about to get hurt by one soldier and Kashi takes her to safe place. Mastani worries for Bajirao.
Baji questions the soldiers how dare they try to attack Mastani in his presence. Mastani hugs Baji and asks him if he is fine. Kashi gets disheartened seeing their closeness. Baji interrogates Chima and Radha if they are behind this and sent men to kill Mastani. How can they do this behind his back. Chimaji says nowadays Baji doubts his family more than his enemies. Baji says they forced him to do that. Surya says Baji should calm himself as he became careless after falling in love with Mastani. So his enemies might take advantage of that. Baji says he is doubting his sincerity which is not right.
He suspects Surya, Chima and Kashi behind the attack. He tells Kashi that she is extremely hurt after Mastani’s arrival and this is quite natural she will try to kill Mastani to end her sorrow. She knows he won’t leave Mastani. Did Kashi’s principles allow her do so? Kashi says in order to save her own people she can sacrifice a person. Mastani is danger for her own image so Mastani’s death will be beneficial for her. Baji asks her if she is behind the attack? Kashi says she didn’t do that as she knows how much important Mastani is for Baji. They need a warrior like Baji so she will protect Mastani.
Kashi says Baji himself ruined the peace by bringing Mastani here so how can he expect people would stay quiet seeing that. Baji says he will punish the culprit and he won’t even spare his family members if they are responsible for this attack. Baji leaves with Mastani. Kashi gets upset with Chima and he says how Mastani didn’t die? Kashi says killing a woman is a sin and how did Chima think that he will successfully kill Mastani by defeating Bajirao?
Kashi adds she doesn’t care if Baji gives her place to Mastani. She requests Radha to understand her point as she is now tired. Baji and Mastani are inseparable and they should accept it. Kashi says if Baji loses his calm everything will be finished, Mughals will destroy their state and she wants to make Baji happy for their own peace nothing else. Atleast for Nanashaheb’s future she wants to see Baji happy. Radha feels bad for Kashi.
Chima apologises to Kashi. Kashi gets worried thinking what will happen when Baji will find the culprit. Matang asks Baji did he bring Mastani here to hurt her? Mastani tells Matang to shut up else she will send him to Bundelkhand. Baji says that he will not spare the person who planned all these. Mastani tells him to not attack his family, Baji goes to Kashi and the latter tells him to stay calm for Nanashaheb atleast.
His impulsive decision should not affect his son’s future. He says she should not use this tactics to calm him as its not a joke what happened today in the wada. He says she meant his own family is responsible so he should handle the matter peacefully. Kashi says she just wants him to not do anything which will make his son hate him in future. He leaves and Kashi hopes he wont do anything wrong.
