The episode starts with Balaji accepting the marriage idea of Kashi and Bajirao. He says he never disregarded Pant so he is ready to send presents and the marriage proposal to Mahadji. Balaji remains worried thinking how will Mahadji and his family will react as they rejected the proposal once. Pant leaves and Radhabai tells Balaji that he should not be angry with her because she invited Pant without his permission. Balaji says he is thinking about Bajirao’s consent. As he doesn’t like Kashi. Radhabai says he will handle him. Bajirao comes and argues with his siblings that he can’t like Kashi no matter how much they like her. Radhabai and Balaji pretend to discuss about Kashi getting injured. Bajirao asks them about Kashi’s health and his sister teases him saying if he dislikes her then why he cares. Bajirao replies Kashi prayed for his safety so he is just asking. He leaves. Radhabai tells Balaji that though Baji doesn’t like Kashi but he is concerned about her. Kashi wakes up from sleep hearing bird chirping noise. She gets irritated and says Baji sent the birds to annoy her. Ganga says Baji protects others, why will he annoy her.
Radhabai makes all the preparations and sends Mai to Chaskaman with the gifts and the proposal in this hope that Mahadji will accept it. Mahadji decides to go to meet a groom’s family and later he tells his wives to not worry for Kashi much.Shiu and Bhavani tell Mahadji that they will find a suitable groom from Kashi as his friends are not able to do that. Mahadji tells about the groom and they get happy. Bhavani says Kashi should be treated like a queen in her in law house. Kashi hears that and gets disheartened. She drops her pot and says if her parents want to get her out of the house why to get married for that. She will herself leave. She leaves and Mahadji stops her. Kashi cries that why are they finding a groom for her. She can’t stay away from her family, can’t follow the rules which a wife follows. Shiu and Bhavani make her understand that they also got married at her age and this discussion is needed. They provoke Kashi saying if she doesn’t get married soon Baji will marry her as Radhabai wants the same. Kashi gets shocked and says Baji is her enemy. She won’t marry him. Shiu and Bhavani make her believe that she has to marry someone else to avoid marrying Bajirao.
Radhabai asks Bajirao why he hates Kashi, what if he gets married to her or a girl like her. Baji gets shocked and says he would like to stay bachelor instead of marrying her. Radhabai tells him if he starts staying with Kashi he will slowly get to know her real nature and eventually will like her. Bajirao says he is not interested. He leaves. Radhabai says hope Mahadji understands what she is feeling.
Bhavani and Shiu inform Mahadji that Kashi gave her consent for the marriage and he gets emotional. Kashi tells him to promise that he will visit her in law house every day and leaves. Mahadji is about to leave to meet the groom’s family and Mai arrives with gifts. She tells about Bajirao and Kashi’s marriage proposal. Mai hopes for a positive response. They offer her water and Bhavani harshly replies that their status don’t match at all. How can Balaji be so blind and greedy like his wife. She insults Balaji and Mahadji shuts her up. Mahadji says they can talk politely too. Kashi hears the proposal and says Bajirao and she became enemies thus how can they get married. She rejects the proposal. Mahadji tells Kashi to leave. Shiu decides to send Balaji a letter and Mahadji leaves with his wives. Mai feels upset. Kashi overhears their talk from corner with Ganga. Ganga says Bajirao secretly sent Kashi marriage proposal that was unexpected. Kashi says how dare he did that.
Bajirao recalls Radhabai’s talk and says everyone is just remembering Kashi. He wont keep any gift of her which reminds him of Kashi. He takes the knife gifted by Kashi and goes to bury it. He says he will close the chapter. Radhabai stops him saying if this present will bother him for real she will take it from him but not now. He should keep it. Bajirao agrees and says but he will never use it. Radhabai thinks if marriage proposal gets accepted she will make Baji and Kashi friends by using this gift.
