Back-to-back actors are quitting the Anupama show for anonymous reasons. After Sudhanshu Pandey, actress Madalsa Sharma bid adieu to her character Kavya.
Madalsa Sharma confirms her exit. In an interview with the leading daily, Madalsa said that the story has moved on from Vanraj, Anupama, and Kavya. The actress was not satisfied with her character growth, thus she quit.
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Madalsa claimed the character of Kavya had brought an upheaval in Anupama’s life that changed things for everyone. She said, “My character had tremendous growth, but in the past one year, I felt that the story moved on from Vanraj, Kavya, and Anupamaa.”
She added, “There was not much spice or spark left in my character.” The actress revealed if Kavya had continued playing the gray character, then she would have continued to be a part of the show. “For the past few months, the creative team tried to do something different with my character, but nothing worked out.” She claimed she, along with the show’s producer Rajan Shahi, mutually decided to move on.
Madalsa’s character Kavya played a key role in taking forward Anupama’s story. How makers plan to carry the Shahs or the Anupama’s story will be wait-worthy.
Adding on, Sudhanshu Pandey also quit the show and claimed that the story has moved on. Will Anuj and Anupama be able to carry the show legacy, or will there be a generational leap?
Without the original Anupama cast, will viewers accept the new storyline? Time will only tell,
As of now, there is no replacement for Vanraj and Kavya’s characters. Both are given an open ending in the show. The left Shahs member will take the story forward. Anuj and Anupama will run the Shah house.
