Mahadev and Sons to replace Shiv Shakti next month!

By Gossips TV: Colors TV is gearing up for a major prime-time reshuffle as its new family drama Mahadev and Sons is set to premiere next month. Headlined by Shakti Anand, Sneha Wagh, and Mansi Salvi, the show is confirmed to launch on 5 January at 8 PM, with the channel confident that the series will bring fresh energy to its early prime-time lineup. The drama is the official Hindi remake of the popular Tamil series Pandian Stores 2, known for its strong emotional core and ensemble storytelling.

The move, however, directly impacts the currently airing longest running show Shiv Shakti, which occupies the 8 PM slot. Starring Subha Rajput and Ram Yash Vardhan, the mythological romance has had a challenging run. Despite being mounted on one of the highest budgets for the channel, the show struggled to deliver the expected TRP performance and had been under the scanner for months. With *Mahadev and Sons* joining the grid, the channel is preparing for a seamless transition.

What remains uncertain is whether *Shiv Shakti* will go off-air completely or be shifted to a new time slot. Colors TV has yet to issue an official confirmation regarding the show’s future. Industry insiders suggest that internal discussions are underway, but the final decision will depend on content strategy and scheduling dynamics for January.

As anticipation builds, Mahadev and Sons is expected to offer a refreshing family-oriented narrative, aiming to strengthen Colors TV’s weekday fiction lineup in the upcoming year.
