The episode begins with Adit remarking that his father’s phone is dead because it isn’t charging. Mangal plugs the phone into the charger. After a while, Sowmya asks Adit to check Sudesh’s phone. When he opens it, he receives a call from the police station asking him to identify a person found unconscious near the location where they found Akshat. Sowmya becomes frightened.
Kusum, Adit, Mangal, and Sowmya rush to the hospital, where they are shocked by Sudesh’s condition. Sowmya grows even more scared when Sudesh points at her and accuses, “Sowmya, you made me fall in the ditch.” In a moment of anger, Adit strikes Sowmya, snapping her out of her daydream. He tells Kusum that he will go to the hospital to check on Sudesh and instructs Sowmya to stay with her before leaving with Mangal.
At the hospital, a nurse informs Adit and Mangal that the patient’s condition is critical and asks them to watch from a distance. Adit protests that he can’t just stand by, while Mangal points out that the patient cannot be their father. She goes to inspect him and soon returns in tears, telling Adit that the patient isn’t Sudesh. Adit comforts her by hugging her, helping her sit, and offering water. He then calls Kusum; however, when Sowmya answers, Adit informs her that it isn’t Sudesh. Sowmya relays the message to Kusum, who insists they first need to find Sudesh.
Meanwhile, Akshat awakens. Ishana asks him to eat something, but he refuses. Sowmya, noticing his fearful expression, asks what happened. Akshat explains that some people attacked them. She further inquires about the attackers, whether they mentioned anything about Mangal, or if they beat them. Akshat replies cryptically that those goons are “best Dadu” and then leaves. Kusum is shocked by his response, while Sowmya suggests that Sudesh was beaten because of Mangal—and that might be why he is missing. Overwhelmed with guilt, Kusum collapses into a chair, regretting that she did not stop Mangal in time. She explains that the crowd attacked Sudesh and Akshat because of Mangal. Sowmya adds that she doesn’t know why Akshat and Sudesh went so far from home.
Later, Adit and Mangal return home. Mangal asks Kusum if she has taken her medicine, but Kusum ignores her. Sowmya then tells Adit that Akshat mentioned the crowd attacked both him and Sudesh, driven by the hate people have for Mangal. Adit expresses uncertainty about why Sudesh and Akshat went far. As he begins checking his messages, he notices that the last message was from Mangal. Shocked, Mangal asks about the message, and as Adit reads it, he is left stunned.
