The episode starts with Mangal saying to Adit’s family that Sowmya hasn’t cooked any food but she has ordered the entire food from outside. Kusum asks Sowmya if she made food or ordered the food online. Sowmya says she made it. Kusum asks Sowmya what kind of Kichdi did she make. Sowmya says she made Gehu Ka Kichdi. Kusum says she made Moong ki Kichdi. Kusum asks Sowmya why is she lying even now. Sowmya apologises to Kusum. Mangal asks Sowmya why did she lie to them. Mangal comments on it. Kusum comments on Sowmya as she doesn’t care about their family one bit and she deceived them by saying that she knows how to cook food. Sowmya says to Kusum that she tried to cook food for them but she wasn’t able to do it so she ordered the food online. Sowmya apologises to Kusum and Adit’s family. Kusum reprimands Sowmya and asks Mangal to handle the kitchen. Sowmya decides to teach a lesson to Mangal later.
Karthik asks Gayatri if she is alright. Gayatri says she is fine. Lakshmi decides to talk to Karthik at the dining table while eating food. Lakshmi asks Karthik to come and eat food. Gayatri asks Lakshmi to bring the food here. Lakshmi agrees. Gayatri says to Lakshmi that tomorrow there is Vinayak Pooja and asks Lakshmi to prepare for it as Karthik’s PR team is going to come tomorrow and see all the decoration also. Karthik says to Gayatri that he will help Lakshmi. Gayatri says to Karthik that she has to talk to him about something important and says Lakshmi will handle it.
Sowmya apologises to Adit’s family for what she has done. Sowmya says she will leave this house. Mangal asks Kusum to stop Sowmya as Sowmya cannot go anywhere in the night. Kusum stops Sowmya and asks Sowmya to go inside as they have taken her responsibility and comments on it. Sowmya asks Kusum if they have forgiven her. Kusum says yes. Kusum later asks Mangal to go and prepare for Ganesh Pooja tomorrow. Mangal agrees.
The next day, Mangal is shown to be doing Pooja along with her family. Mangal asks Adit if she can go to meet Lakshmi as today is Lakshmi’s first Ganesh Pooja. Adit says to Mangal that Pooja in that house is just a PR stunt and says to Mangal that there is no need for her to go to meet Lakshmi. Mangal takes Akshat to school.
The reporters say to Karthik that they would like to ask him and Lakshmi a few questions. Karthik calls for Lakshmi. The reporters ask Lakshmi and Karthik what should they do for a successful marriage. Karthik says wife and husband should be good friends. Lakshmi says they have to talk to each other no matter what to understand each other. Sanjana asks Karthik and Lakshmi to stand beside each other and pose so that the reporters can take their photo. Karthik and Lakshmi give a pose to the reporters.
Mangal gets a call from Adit asking Mangal to go to meet Lakshmi if she wants and says he will pick up Akshat from school. Mangal agrees.
It is shown Sowmya is the one who used voice change app in her phone and used Adit’s voice to talk to Mangal. Sowmya thinks Mangal will be thrown out of the house when she doesn’t go to pick up Akshat and forget about him. Sowmya calls the telephone company and blocks Mangal’s SIM card.
Mangal meets Lakshmi and talks to her. Mangal asks Lakshmi if Karthik is troubling her. Lakshmi says there is nothing like that. Karthik comes and asks Mangal what is she doing here as at this time she used to go to pick up Akshat from school. Mangal says Adit is going to pick up Akshat from school today.
Akshat worries about Mangal as she hasn’t come to pick him up till now. Akshat’s teacher calls Mangal and she gets message that Mangal’s phone is not working so she calls Adit. Akshat thinks Adit will never come to pick him up so he leaves the school.
Adit learns that Mangal hasn’t come to pick up Akshat from school and Akshat has also gone missing from school from the teacher. Adit leaves to the school.
Akshat is shown to be lost on road. A woman sees Akshat and thinks about kidnapping him. Mangal is shown to be leaving in an auto and feels a bad omen.
