The episode starts with Lakshmi recalling how Gayatri saved her before she slipped from the balcony. Lakshmi says, “I used the time and sent messages to Jia using Gayatri’s phone.” Lakshmi connects a pen drive to her mobile and discovers that Gayatri had a deal with Jia, which led to the separation of Karthik and Jia. She wonders why Maa did this. Lakshmi returns home, where Karthik sees her. He tells her he needs her help to arrange a surprise for his mom on Mother’s Day, mentioning that he sent his mom to the salon. Lakshmi says she will help Gayatri at the salon. Karthik replies, “Mom doesn’t need your help, but I do.”
Jia also arrives at the salon where Gayatri is present. She overhears Gayatri telling the nail art designer that she forgot her phone somewhere. Jia realizes someone has the proof. She leaves the salon and, in disguise, goes to Karthik’s house. Upon seeing Lakshmi alive, she thinks, “Who fooled me?” She then messages Gayatri’s phone and sees Lakshmi replying from Gayatri’s phone, realizing it’s all a conspiracy planned by Lakshmi. Jia decides to outsmart Lakshmi. Lakshmi spots Jia but can’t see her. Karthik then takes Lakshmi aside, saying that Gayatri is coming.
Karthik and the family give Gayatri a grand welcome and call her the best mother. Gayatri thanks her children for the big surprise, calling them the best. Umesh tells Gayatri her new look is amazing, and everyone smiles happily. Lakshmi asks Gayatri to cut her favorite cake. Gayatri agrees and cuts the cake. They feed it to each other. Lakshmi waits for a moment to talk to Gayatri before Jia can execute her plans. Lakshmi intentionally makes the cake fall on Gayatri’s saree. She apologizes and asks Gayatri to change. Gayatri agrees. Lakshmi follows Gayatri, telling the others to continue.
After changing her saree, Gayatri comes out. Lakshmi tells her she wants to talk. Gayatri asks her not to spoil her day, saying, “I know you want to talk to me about Jia.” Lakshmi replies, “I don’t want my family members to face any problems. Why are you bearing Jia’s threats alone? I want to know the secret.” Just then, Sanjana enters and asks Lakshmi to go and help Karthik. Gayatri tells Lakshmi to go to hell and hands her phone back. Lakshmi leaves. Sanjana notices Gayatri’s mood and asks why she looks upset. Gayatri warns her to stay out of her life. Meanwhile, Karthik plays the guitar and tells Gayatri that he has achieved many things because of her, and that the best gift she gave him is Lakshmi. He dedicates a song to her and sings it.
Finally, they hear Lakshmi’s voice, saying she wants everyone to know Gayatri’s secret. Lakshmi thinks, “Why is my voice playing? I didn’t record it.” Gayatri tries to stop the video, but it starts playing, revealing how Gayatri manipulated Jia and caused her separation from Karthik. Lakshmi denies that it’s her voice, saying, “I don’t know who did this.” Jia recalls how she created the video using Lakshmi’s voice through AI. Gayatri scolds Lakshmi, asking why she did it. She insists to Karthik that it’s all a lie. Karthik then asks Gayatri if she is responsible for his marriage with Jia being canceled.
