By Anil Merani: Manit Joura is set to portray a police officer in his upcoming Colors TV show, Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki

Manit has recently signed on for the role. While specifics remain confidential, it is confirmed that he will play a formidable police officer. The creators are deliberately limiting character details to build anticipation.

It is unclear whether Manit’s character will be a protagonist or antagonist, or if his presence will spark new interactions between Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan. Sources indicate his arrival will profoundly influence the storyline.

A lot depends on the ratings added to the source. If his presence lights up the numbers, then his character will obviously gain prominence; if not, the reverse will take effect, our matter-of-fact source quipped.

Manit has worked in films (Band Baaja Baaraat, Falsafa), television (Khamoshiyan, Adalat, Prem Bandhan), and web series (Test Case, Baarish), but is best recognized for playing Risabh Lutra in Kundali Bhagya.

Manit is yet to start shooting, as the final details have yet to be resolved, but rest assured, he is on board. Also, Manit is on his Mohali farm in the wake of the severe floods hitting India’s granary (Punjab)

Mannat has been seeing its ratings decline, so the makers hope that Manit will weave his magic and save the day.
