By Anil Merani: Naezy The Baa, the unexpected dark horse of Bigg Boss OTT 3, has surpassed Sai Ketan Rao and Ranvir Shorey to secure a spot in the top two, alongside the fan favorite Sana Makbul.
Sai has finished at number 5, while Ranvir exited at # 3.
A surprising development given that both Sai and Ranvir, who were strong contenders, and Naezy appeared weaker on paper compared to both, yet he is through. This means his supporters turned up at the crunch time, unlike the former duo’s much more vocal stans.
Sai and Ranvir’s elimination should make TV and film actors wake up and smell the coffee Gen Zyer don’t really care about them anymore.
Naezy’s quiet stance has played an essential role in his BBOTT journey; he has never rambled about things. The only time he crossed the line was when he got into a verbal spat with a reporter who questioned his equation with Sana during the recent press conference. The constant snipping that he was under Sana’s influence finally made him snap, revealing the strain in their relationship.
Sana and Naezy have a good friendship, but he has maintained an independent policy.
But will Naezy now be able to upset the apple cart by even beating Sana? I don’t think Sana is a much more intelligent player, and Naezy should be satisfied with having reached so far. Few people outside the rap world knew Nezy; now, the whole world knows him.
Just for argument’s sake, if Naezy do pull off the impossible and beats Sana, will her friendship with him remain the same, or will it be like most Bigg Boss equations, raat gayi baat gayi.
